9-5 with that 4 game losing streak. I'll take it.
Voted for 10-4.

Escaping December with a 26-7 record would be awesome.

Re: December watch..
Yup... I was at 10-4 as well.
The losses to Mil and the Clipps could have both gone in our favor. We started horribly against the Bucks but showed we can play with them in the second half and we basically gave away the Clipper game late with some stagnant offensive play. Both can be cleaned up

Re: December watch..
So I feel pretty good about this December stretch now w these two last wins. Looking back in hindsight, the four losses seemingly are explainable (?) in terms of the context of that time. Like a bad string of unfortunate coincidences.

WINDallas at Lakers. Dec 29th Sun @630pm PT
----------------------------------
I left the wins silly descriptions for the wins above to show perhaps a clue into why Indiana loss and Bucks loss were incurred. As you can see the wins were pretty big blowouts starting w the utah win but then kind of fizzled out towards the Atlanta win even w Lebron playing horribly in some of those road wins.
Then lebron went to travel to see his kid's basketball game in Ohio before heading back to Indiana. We could have won that game sure, but Lebron and the team was starting to show some exhaustion near end of this road trip and started making lazy decisions like instead of driving and making plays, lebron will just dribble at the perimeter and shoot a brick 3 pointer. Not making his FTs too.
AD was a bit injured during this stretch and then Lebron's groin got into play again.
Denver we didnt play lebron. Hobo game we just didnt clinch it. And there is the notion that perhaps we dont want to reveal our whole poker-hand to this team until the playoffs by not working the AD/lebron pick and roll (or big/lebron) in the game.
------------------------------
Anyways, the last two game wins has allowed me to reflect back on this like this. If we had dropped last nite's game or the portland's , I would have thought this season is not THE season as we would have internal and huge foundational issues.

Lots of road games won is encouraging. It speaks to chemistry. LeBron has been incredible in most games. MVP level dominant. Except in the most important game.
My biggest worry taken away from December 2019 is that LeBron indeed does seem to be scared of Kawhi. I was hoping to see him go Bo Jackson on KL’s ass but instead he whimpered.
Positives: Kuzma is inching back to pre-injury form. When there, we’re very dangerous. Players like Green and KCP and Caruso will be left wide open.
Caruso is playing within his role and finding his way. I think he will grow quickly given some more minutes with the starters.
KCP has surprised positively again, but hey, maybe it’ll stay that way this time. Inconsistency has been his only consistency as a Laker up until this season, and I’m still sour about his previous extortion contract. But, his contribution has been good and should be recognized.
Howard has continued to play fairly well. Somebody tell him not to leave the paint so damn much, leaving wide open layup lanes. That adjustment alone could’ve won us the LA Clippers, I mean, LA Load Managers game.
Vogel is very bright, thinks long term, has a vision and a plan for how. It’s a grind for him, the season. I like that he’s patient. But I’m in-game situations you need to react quickly sometimes to what’s going on and I worry he’s too rigid at times.
McGee has played well.
Green has underwhelmed. If the shot isn’t falling, at least play defense like a bulldog until it does.
Rondo should lead the second unit. Caruso should get his minutes next to LBJ.
LBJ and AD haven been performing at historically great levels of excellence, smaller injuries and all considered. We’re so lucky to have them.
We need a PG to get LBJ some more rest on the bench. His name is FVV. Daniels, Cook, Rondo, KCP, Bradley should all be on the table. Yes, for a rental. THT stays. Chip.
I guessed 11-3, thought it’d be 12-2, but I’ll take 10-4.

i dont think lbj is scared of kawhi we'll see if we face them in po and if lebron plays like this we can assured that he is scared.
rondo shouldnt even play when lebron is on court
danny green have been a disappointed they sign him that money to shoot and d ..
but defense is the only prize we are getting from him consistently
kcp i starting to trust him now ehen he will shoot the ball not like the first week when i see him shoot the ball im gonna shake my head
howard good
kuzma i hope the news that him and bron got no bad feelings eith each other
i want him atleast this year so we can see if he trully develop into a third scoring threat we envision him
the way he's playing its look like he's proving something like im a laker i will show but then the 0pts happen against the mavs
bradley i hope he'w back november form
mcgee good
davis i hope he doesnt get any minor injuries or major please basketball god
