Lakers just killed themselves with the three. Went 12-45 for the game, 4-24 in the second half, 0-10 in the 4th quarter alone

Honestly thought this was gonna be a win. Surprised by the meltdown. This will put pressure on Lebron to come back earlier and play big minutes. Might be too much to ask of him.
Yes, AD is still finding his stride, but this should be a top 5 team without Lebron if hoping to repeat.

We’ll be fine.
Our team is absolutely loaded.
And now we have a catch and shoot threat in McLemore. I really think he has earned some rotation minutes even ahead of Mathews

Not to worried about the loss. The three just wasn't dropping. It happens. Had some great looks just couldn't connect.

Whether the threes were falling or not, more than half (45 of 86) of their field goal attempts were from behind the arc. Unnecessary, especially for a team who more often than not can't make threes at a decent percentage. And tack on their inability to defend on the other end makes it the perfect recipe for disaster. Definitely the most disappointing half of basketball given the lead that they had.

Not having KCP really showed tonight. I think he'd have some success guarding Doncic. I really hope we get everybody back healthy. We have a chance but time is running out.

That was a must win game, now Lakers can't be equal with Mavs. Davis really needs to hit some shots. I feel Lakers win one of those games if Davis doesn't return.

You want to see the Clippers in the first round with a rusty LeBron and AD?

The Clipps are 1 game behind the Suns. So we have no idea how that will end up. My belief is that the Jazz are the top threat to us in the West. The Clipps are 2nd biggest threat behind them. But at least, if we meet up with the Clipps, we ain't travelin anywhere. A 1st round Phoenix matchup, is the best case scenario....imo

What exactly is Vogel’s main offensive scheme for this team? I’m asking because I really do not know!
Is it really just launch a ton of 3’s and pray theu go in?
Any variation of Triangle or Princeton offense? UCLA or backdoor cuts?
Or just give screens and hunt for mismatches?

Wow what a terrible 2nd half. Davis couldn't buy a basket. What a **** of a game. Really bad.
