Mark Stein is reporting that Dudley is in advanced talks to become an assistant coach with the Mavericks.

Its good to let him go. Gain experience. Attain more knowledge. Maybe he wants to head coach in the future. Or return here and assist here after, who knows. But I think its a good thing to go out and experience more
