It’s the third straight game the offense has looked good. There’s no reason this team can’t have a top 10 offense. They’ve underachieved to start the season but they look like they’re out of their funk. It’s ok to let yourself feel a little hope, lol.

Nah if we beat teams like the Nets, Warriors, Bulls, Bucks, Suns, or Jazz I will start to believe. Until then, I'm not convinced. We still suck at shooting, spacing is still terrible, and we foul so much which will kill any chance they have against an elite team.

They’re going to win on the road in Memphis Thursday night. Memphis is currently sitting at 4th in the West. Most of the major early season problems are starting to sort themselves out.

I don’t really see Memphis as a measuring stick because they’re in the double digit loss column just like us. Seeds 4-10 are anybody’s spots. 1-3 are the real teams to beat. Cool if we beat Memphis, but I’m not riding this high just because we beat the Celtics without Jaylen Brown.

I would not like playing with him.

If you watched him walking out of bounds, he was telling AD, LeBron and Mello to sit down... When they asked who told him to shoot, he pointed at Vogel and said 'Vogel' and brushed past them... They stood there looking confused but didn't press him...

I don't think he had any intention of shooting that shot... It's not his spot or style... That's Monk's style...

But the issue was that you just don't shoot 3s when the game's over and the other team has called it a night... So I'm not sure how letting Howard shoot the 3 would have been any better... It probably would have been even worse...

If that was Caruso, what would he have done? Just curious

Dude, Vogel was forced to call a timeout because THT took a quick trigger 3 like 45 seconds before that followed by the Celtics scoring on the other end.

When you're winning a game like that and you basically have the human victory cigar (Dwight's three point shooting) out there, you do that. The guy never gets to shoot threes in games (with our shooting he probably should) while THT just jacks up ridiculous shots all game.

Caruso could have done whatever he wanted in that moment and I would have been okay with it. But knowing him and his team-first mindset, he probably would have got the ball to Dwight or Bazemore or someone who could use the shot more than him. The guy sacrificed nightly for this team. Meanwhile, THT has had shade thrown at him ever since the beginning of last year by multiple players. I would hate playing with him. The guy is a black hole on the offensive end of the court.

Who's been throwing shade at THT? And why wasn't it posted here.
Could it have been the old, broke ass players, who've under-performed all year and are just mad that someone dared take a shot other than them, thus preventing them from being the black holes they usually are? Westbrook, LeBron, AD, Melo, Monk, have all been taking stupid short-clock, selfish 3s all season... And any 3 Dwight takes is a dumb 3... So are we really piling on the 21 year old for taking an occasional, wide open, heat-check 3? Seems selective to hate THT for that... Especially since one of the big knocks on him last season was passing up open shots and throwing the ball away... Which he's improved significantly this season...

That quick timeout by Vogel was stupid... Like if he's going to do that, why not do it after the 2 quick bricks Westbrook threw to start the 4th that got OKC back into the game... Or LeBron's requisite logo-for-no-reason statement 3s.... Or any jumpshot AD takes this season...

Also... If howard is the human victory Cigar, isn't that kind of a bad look for a team that's been as **** as we have this seaon, to start doing big ball dances midway through the 3rd and celebrating single-digit victories by letting Dwight shoot a 3 when the other team has conceded... Question being, which is worse/more selfish... THT taking a quick 3 in transition, (mind you, the interior D was back, which made a drive ill advised, but no one was in front of him) or a corny Dwight 3pter?
Sorry, but I have no interest at all in seeing Dwight shoot 3s... We're not the Harlem Globetrotters, we're an NBA team that's fighting to stay 500...
We need THT to get more confidence shooting the 3... That's a critical part of his game. Taking a quick TO to chew him out for doing it, especially if the preferred play is Dwight shooting a 3, is idiotic.
