Every game when the lakers have to play melo at the 5 for the 10-15 minutes they should just rain threes on the other end

This implies that Hield would have made Davis healthy.... or Bron healthy.

I get what you're saying but it seems way too simple for this situation. Westbrook is a large part but Davis, even when he played, was not great.... Westbrook has overshadowed that.

3 point shooting hasn't been our biggest issue. Defense and scoring consistently in the paint have.

Anyway it's all supposition at this point.

Yeah, and Melo played defense! Monk and Reaves is a good combo.

LeBron’s amazing. Melo’s fun mostly. And Reaves, Malik and Stanley Johnson are a fun trio.

That’s the positives on the year so far.

The Lakers need to lean heavily on those 5 until AD and Nunn are back. Add in THT and Russ (if he’s playing with energy like he did last night) and you have the makings for a team that can win some games.

Starts with belief. If the Lakers truly want to make anything of this season, it has to continue with these next 3 games @ San Antonio, @ Houston, vs Washington. If we don’t go 3-0, I’d seriously consider shutting down LeBron.
