Re: Fire Pelinka
The Lakers had a chance to add a big before the trade window expired, and yet Pelinka was spotted (according to unreliable reports) at Disneyland on the day of the trade deadline. Since then, you can see how much the team has suffered from lack of an interior defensive (and offensive) presence. I get that there were few assets available to trade, but other teams seemed to get decent talent for not much in return. In my opinion, he hung Frank Vogel, LeBron, and the rest of the team out to dry. Even a week ago, the addition of Willie Cauley-Stein might have improved the team.

I say give Rob the reigns, see what he can do without Klutch and Linda Rambis in his ear.
Look at who he drafted and all the ‘other guys’ he grabbed out of thin air for us.

Magic on First Take. Tells the inside Story.
Pelinka has NO guts. Does not Represent the best interest of our team.

I mean... Magic has beef with Pelinka for talking smack behind his back when he was GM... So maybe a grain or 2 of salt there...
But still... At first, I didn't want the blame focused on Pelinka when I thought it should be on LeBron/Klutch... But as this thing unravels, It's pretty clear Pelinka has no vision for how this team should be constructed and he needs gone...
Never have rice at Hanzo's house...

I personally think he's made some solid foundation moves. All gone. Sold off. Shipped to other towns and cities. And to think he can get it back, first off he sold off all 1st round picks. Second, we are cemented with Westbrook.
You can't write up a scenario any better on how to trash a franchise. From 1st to worst. He made the recipe.

Re: Fire Pelinka
Pelinka's biggest issue is, he does not know how to negotiate trades at all. Every trade he has made, we came out looking like a giant loser.
We gave up like two second round picks for Gasol, and had to give up another pick to get rid of him a year later;
Danny Green and a first round pick for Schroeder. That first rounder could've gotten us Desmond Bane, and Danny Green could've gotten us a first round pick too if we traded him like OKC did;
Anthony Davis looked like a fair trade at the time, but now looks like a massive overpay, especially when we had no other competitors;
Westbrook trade. Even if we really wanted him, why the f*ck did we have to give up a first round pick in a good draft? We should've gotten a first rounder from Washington to take on that contract alone, nevermind giving them an asset like Kuzma.
Pelinka just seems like LeBron's little errand boy on this team. LeBron points at an expensive toy he wants, Rob just walks over and pay to get it, no questions asked. He has no backbone to stand up to Klutch and it is fair to at least question, if all he does is do what LeBron wants, do we really need him to do that job? We could've hired someone much cheaper to smile at LeBron.

He's starting his campaign..... God help us. I love Magic the player but Magic as the leader of the franchise is like giving matches to kids.... you know a fire will start... when, where and how many is the only question.

I'm no fan of Pelinka, but I do think Magic is a fraud. I can't stand the guy one bit. He comes across as a narcissist who never ceases on an opportunity to instill himself into the spotlight.
