I don't even know how to respond to that. Ummm... Nash's production =/= team success, especially if that team is actively rebuilding.

PER also favors volume scoring which is exactly what Kobe was doing.

Uh... if you want to argue at least argue effectively. Kobe's game is very unconducive to producing good PER #s.

Actually it shouldn't be, PER favors usage and volume scoring. PER ends up not making Kobe look good because he is relatively(compared to the hyper efficient Lebron Wade types not league average) inefficient.

We're in agreement on the other things so I didn't quote the rest.

John Gambadoro ‏@Gambo620

Suns will get multiple picks from the Lakers, had been talk earlier of two first rounders so my belief is that it is at least the two 1sts

John Gambadoro ‏@Gambo620

New York was never really a serious option for Nash, he preferred the Lakers

John Gambadoro ‏@Gambo620

Initial thoughts are that Suns did what was best for them getting multiple assets for Steve instead of letting him walk for nothing.

How legit is this guy?

so this isn't real?

Knicks In Lead To Acquire Steve Nash
Jul 04, 2012 1:50 PM EDT

The Knicks have become the frontrunners to sign Steve Nash, according to sources.

Nash and the Knicks are in discussions on a three-year deal worth between $27 million and $30 million.

New York would send Iman Shumpert, Toney Douglas and Dan Gadzuric to the Suns for Nash in a sign-and-trade.

Nash is enthusiastic about joining Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler and Amar'e Stoudemire.

The Raptors offered Nash a three-year, $36 million deal at the start of free agency. Toronto also agreed to an offer sheet with Landry Fields, which took him off the table for the Knicks to include in a package for Nash.

Despite the possible addition of Nash, New York still intends to match any offer Jeremy Lin receives on the open market.
