I miss you buddy. Have you graduated USC yet?

Be sure to watch tht Mex-Bra game then 8-)

Almost done man graduate in December. I have to do an extra semester since I am doing accounting. I have to take a few more classes as opposed to just having done a business major. I am however at a point where I don't give a (curse word) about school anymore. Can't wait to be finished

That's great to hear. Ill be done in the summer. Still need one more class after spring to graduate. I unfortunately still have more school left. I have a couple more classes to take at a community classes before I can apply to med school and definitely looking to make my application stronger by shadowing in a clinic or working.
What are you doing after you graduate?

don't know much about law school, but I have a friend that got into usc law school last year. she came to school here did a butt load of community service for women that were sexually abused. she was a legal advocate and would go to court weekly. I think she was interested in social justice.
you gotta look around for stuff. There are plenty of stuff in LA. Just gotta be persistent. What are you interested in studying. Also I know a friend that became certified as a paralegal while he was going to UCLA. They offer an inexpensive class that migh work with your schedule and you can do that as work while going to school and gain experience :dontknow:

Good stuff keep it up!
As long as I keep my grades up, meaning nothing below a B-, I have a full time job offer after I graduate. They give me the option to start right away in January, or wait until August. I'll most likely be doing a winter internship from Jan-March with the firm, then take some time off to study for the CPA and start full time in August.

With that being said CA has new CPA requirements which means I have to take one more community college class, probably this summer, to reach 10 units of ethics.

Word on the street though is that the CPA is no joke and the studying is intnse

when my brother attempted his CPA you have to pay like 2k to take it and you only get a year before it expires and you have to buy it again (including if you fail). he never got it though, im sure one of his bigger regrets. you literally have to do nothing but study for weeks/months, and thats pretty difficult to do if you already have a job/trying to pay bills.

I'm fortunate enough that my firm will pay for everything including the study materials such as Becker CPA review. But yeah I have a few friends studying for it right now and they do about 8 hrs a day. It is essentially a full time job which is why I'll be taking all that time off to study.

4/20 was today. I dont smoke, but you can bet your ass campus was full today. The school decided to have an alternative event to 4/20. They called it the healthy high festival. I kid you not.
