If Clippers had struggled to beat Toronto on a road back to back without Lowry, Anunoby and Ibaka, it wouldn't have boded well for them.

So if another guy posts that, it's cool... If you post it yourself tho...
He's got game for sure. He just feels like one of those players that will eventually get exposed in some way... Not sure what right now, but I don't trust that he can sustain it.

I can understand the chip on his shoulder as everyone and their momma keep calling Atlanta dumb for passing on Doncic to take him.

I was going to say that those people could still be right, even with Young playing so well. But I checked his stats and damn if he isn't having a great season. 40 percent on the types of 3s he takes, at nine attempts per game, is pretty nuts. Not Curry level, of course, but that's an unfair comparison given that he's the best shooter we've ever seen.

Also a 47% assist rate to go with 30 points per 36 mins, even if that AST/TO ratio isn't very pretty. Add in a healthy 37% free throw rate and I don't think its a stretch to imagine him being as good as Curry if not better as an overall offensive player.

When teams are flying in to LA for games, scheduling a back-back vs the Lakers and Clippers seems logical. Looking at the schedule this year, the Clippers play the visiting team 6 times on the second of the back-back vs the Lakers 4. Thought that was interesting.

Feels like the Rockets might be figuring it out... Clippers look like half the team they were when they beat us on opening night...

Their role players have been producing way above their normal capacity imo. Unfortunately, PG coming back makes up for their regression to the norm.
I'm eager to see how PG and Kawhi play off each other. I predict it will be more of a "your turn, my turn" type of offense with a lot of standing around. If they come out with instant chemistry, bad news for the Lakers and the rest of the league.

Here are the current 15 NBA players with the lowest +/- for the season. 5 of them are ex-Laker draftees...

I find it amusing that both Morris twins are there.

Watching KP’s return to NY and I’m realizing I’m never impressed with Kristaps’ game. He’s always so forgettable in his games that I watch.

He's another guy who can stat it up yet doesn't effect a change on the outcome of a game. Luka on the other hand....

Randle is what he is.... but by mid year I'd expect this list to include the Knicks top 8 from top to bottom. Unless something big happens there it might be a historic level of suckage in the big Apple.

Re: Around the NBA XI
Man, I know its early but the Clips don't look anywhere near as good as I thought they would. They're still clearly one of the 3 best teams in the conference and one of the 5 best teams overall, but they're not the juggernaut that I thought they'd be.
I think I'm actually more worried about Houston.

Re: Around the NBA XI
Clips with Kawhi out but George back and scoring 30, fall to the pelicans with literally everyone out, but Jrue....
