Philly fans are already celebrating that Lonzo dropped to them. I don't like this one bit. :nonono:

Meanwhile, the Suns traveled to LA to watch Tatum work out.

And if the Lakers promised Jackson, with Kings looking to move up to get Fo, don't you think he would skip a workout for the #4 Suns to get picked by LA at #5??

No I don't and I already explained why. And the Suns at 4 are in a position where they would be picking between Fox, Tatum, and Isaac.

Meanwhile there quite a few pictures out there with Russell spending time with Magic.

And Tatum fits best out of the three.

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/sports/sixers/Sixers-DeAaron-Fox-76ers-NBA-Draft-scheduled-to-work-out-for-next-week.html

"Fox had an impressive meeting with the Sixers during last month’s NBA draft combine in Chicago. Back then, Fox told the media that he’s the best point guard in the draft. Fox added that he would be comfortable moving off the ball to play alongside the Sixers 6-10 point guard Ben Simmons."

Meanwhile, Kings are looking to trade two lotto picks to nab Fox.

I do see Russell has been tagging along with Magic everywhere, then Magic talking different at functions.

If the Lakers made the promise, they would not tell anyone about it. Remember this leak came from Jackson's camp.

So let me get this straight. Lonzo goes to dinner with Magic, Rob and Luke. The next day he has a workout with the Lakers, then he has dinner with the owners of the team.
I'm going to have to hear some more of that with Jackson or anyone else they are planning on drafting for me to believe they aren't taking Lonzo. Unless they are planning on trading the pick.

IIRC Magic vowed to be Russell's mentor this summer before he took the Lakers job. Could explain why Russell is with magic a lot.

All this chatter, whether true or BS is not doing anything good for my anxiety. I just hope we don't screw this up in trying to be smart.

I wish it could be draft day tomorrow so we can get this over with and move on.

As we get closer I'm hearing more about Jackson and DSJ than Lonzo.

I think Lakers are picking either Jackson or DSJ

Couple questions:

- If the end game is Paul George, which we've heard through every reliable source in the NBA, how does having Ingram/Jackson/PG and to a lesser extent Randle/Nance make any sense?

- Does shooting mean anything? Like, seriously. Is anyone watching the NBA Finals right now?

Russell: 35% 3PT
Clarkson: 33% 3PT
Deng: 31% 3PT
Ingram: 30% 3PT
Nance: 28% 3PT
Randle: 27% 3PT

You add Jackson to that line-up. Is that group ever, EVER going to hit 15-25 3PT shots in a game?

DON'T OVERTHINK THIS MAGIC & PELINKA, GOD DAMNIT!!!!

It isn't good. Would be even worse if we are making this pick for the sole purpose of trading for PG down the line.

Well, I would be intrigued by a lineup with Russell (PG), Zubac (Center),with Ingram, Jackson and George as wings, if one of Ingram or Jackson develop a reliably 3 point shoot, this team would be a nightmare with 4 good playmakers, 3 of wich are athletic/long defenders.
But I am still hoping for Lonzo.

That Jackson report sounds more or less like the Suns trying to get Lonzo to workout for them by scare mongering.
