Re: Around the NBA XI
The thing about the hobos (and their fan base ) is that they don't know the source of their culture problems.
They keep pointing the finger at trez (and those who side w him on the reveal of team info and not keeping it within closed doors) as the culprit for the demise of their culture.
He and bev and Lou were there already previous season working hard and always bring it (I know they are really vocal and i can understand when things get a bit political some will err on the side of flushing out their frustrations by vocalizing)
And when pandemicP and the claw came w their demands of altering culture to customize to their needs so coaching / front office gives them unsustainable favoritism (a bit of favoritism is normal but not this)
The blame should fall flat squarely on management. Or the claw or pandemic p if they jaw off too much about how the team has got to "step up" (when trez and Lou do ,sorry, they do their best but they got their weaknesses ..coaching should have utilized them better ) but w their luxury grape feeding&manicures favoritism it doesnt rub the hard working original team the right way.
They celebrate the leaving of trez and can't wait till lou and bev leaves also..but they'll be in a big shock when they find out the same culture issues remain.
They just got rid of the ones who were vocal about the issues.
Basically what I'm saying is that clipper land always barking up the wrong tree. They know no logic.
So them saying trez is going to wreck our culture ?? Lol. He's a hard working , passionate player who will get along w other fierce but strict guys.
He doesn't work well w hypocrites. That is what that other team has.

If anything, it's a deep shame that Doc Rivers was permitted to cost them chemistry, Harrell, etc.
But I think Ibaka is a good fit for them and Batum as well- can't hate too much, actually, though no way are they better than the Lakers.

I'm silently hoping Harden goes to the Nets. The lack of leadership and pointless insecurity on that team's gonna be legendary

I have a feeling somehow both him and Dwight burn bridges with their teams and end up with the Lakers or Clippers for the playoff run.

Re: Around the NBA XI
So the Lakers really won the championship, locked LeBron and AD up for the next 4 years, and went from having no trade assets to multiple assets.

It’s nice to be back up here where we belong, big game.
And, we just beat the Clippers without LBJ and AD.Since the 1976 merger LAL 11, CHI 6, BOS 6, SAS 5, GSW 4

Re: Around the NBA XI
Harden claimed to have worked out in Vegas. Hilarious that the reporters didn’t dare questioning it at all.
I hope he and Lamar don’t frequent the same places. Harden looked like he had lived off of pizza and wings and beer for a month. I don’t blame him.

Cmon Jerry. What's with you?
I would have thought a top tier consultant would know how to use his expertise/skill in negotiations and team/player management rather than resort to name-calling.
Reminds me of the simpsons clip where the mercenary-for-hire reveals ominously to his client how he has very good persuasive skills and then next scene you see him begging like a child to the target.
(Maybe someone can post the video lol)

Jerry once called a reporter "c*nt face," and then repeated it after said reporter thought he misheard. He also said "f*ck Phil Jackson" when the subject of hiring was broached after we got rolled by the Spurs in 1999. So he's never been above that. And at the end of the day, who cares. I can promise you calling another team a sh*t show ranks extremely low on the type of stuff that gets said behind closed doors.

Re: Around the NBA XI
Everything that franchise touches turns to crap. Jerry West is going to end up retiring from a stellar executive career in ignominy over this.

Under Jimmy Buss we were. But Pelinka totally turned things around. Props to Pelinka. Also some Love to Magic recruiting Bron, Rondo move etc.. Ultimately Jeannie. So before the turn around, everyone was dumping on us. We sit now as Champions.
Its just messed up West negative recruited on us, but I understand, thats how the game is played.
For example I'm sure West told Shaq, Shaq, Orlando is a sh*t show, he scored big for us in that case.
