Jordan Hill for Terrence Ross and Landry Fields seems alot more realistic now.

This is the trade you guys have been talking about and the only trade I can think of where a team is trading for Lin the player and not Lin the expiring. I'd say something about getting an even bigger expiring back, but I don't think you would be able to trade Perk any more and so the only value you gain from that deal is seeing if Reggie can work as a starting pg. Reggie kind of works best as the ball dominant guy though. The only pg I want the team to go after pre-Kobe retirement is Brandon Knight bc he can play off the ball as well.

we need to acquire picks, this is sad, we can't get big name FA's here nor are we getting assets like Bos is.

A good start would be trading Hill.

per wire tap, Sac needs front court help and using Staukus as bait....would anyone do Hill/Hou 1st for Staukus? Based on pre-draft analysis he looks like he could turn into a Gordon Hayward type player. I don't know how he's doing in Sac but they probably can't develop him right with Gay/Maclemore in his way.

I think his value has deflated to the point where you don't need to give up a first for Stauskus anymore. That wiretap doesn't make any sense though, because the Kings have been very clear about not trading assets to acquire good players.

well if it doesn't take Hou 1st even better, just wondering if this Staukus guy is worth a gamble? I mean especially if all it takes is hill and other minor incentives. Couldn't hurt right?

He was the best shooter in college basketball last season, but can't seem to get it done in the bigs. Without his shot he's pretty much useless.

Shooting is all confidence at this stage. Minutes and a change of venue could make all the difference in the world to any young player.

I'd do Jordan for Stauskas and Williams. WT said the Kings are looking for an above the rim protector or a stretch 4 though. Not sure if Hill exactly fits that bill.

Gibson is way too important for them when they are going all-in for a finals run and he is insurance for Noah's gimpy knees so I don't see them making that trade even with the salary coming off. I think they might be interested in Lin more than Jordan Hill.

i'd do a Taj, Snell,Dunjr,Nazr for Hill,Lin and Ellington

this seems like a deal the Lakers should make - prospects... dont know much about either but we're getting 2 lottery picks(or 1 and a bust), who knows. just draft a C and our front court is set for the future.

That's part of why I think Snell can succeed with more minutes and distributor Kobe available. He's basically the last option on offense in Chicago, and a change of scenery could do wonders for his confidence.

Wow Snell dnp-cd with Dunleavy out against the Boston tankers, could a trade be on the horizon? :)

It does appear that Ross is more available than ever. Any thoughts Shane?

In two separate deals to Portland:

(1st Deal) Two second round picks for Chris Kaman (using Nash's disabled players exception)
-- Portland has three rather expensive and notable starters to resign this offseason and a valuable backup center center in Freeland. Rather than just release Kaman this offseason to shave money with no compensation, the Lakers give them a couple of picks (and added depth in a separate deal).

(2nd Deal) Ryan Kelly and Robert Sacre for Meyers Leonard
-- Lakers absorb Meyers Leonard's unwanted contract, give Portland a third center and, most importantly, a cheap, offensive, shooting PF to spell and play alongside newly-resigned Aldridge.

I still think it's a great match with the Lakers and Raptors (Hill and Ross). Ross as a two-guard with Kobe operating for him would be a joy to watch. Ross can stroke it so well so he would be a great asset for when we draft Okafor this upcoming draft.

Hill and Ellington for Ross and Fields.

We should work our way into a 3 team trade with OKC and Nets with us getting Reggie Jackson back in the deal. Use any combination of Lin, Nash's expirer, Jordan Hill to get it done.

Why do you say this? Is this just speculation or is it an actual rumor?
