Under Jimmy Buss we were. But Pelinka totally turned things around. Props to Pelinka. Also some Love to Magic recruiting Bron, Rondo move etc.. Ultimately Jeannie. So before the turn around, everyone was dumping on us. We sit now as Champions.
Its just messed up West negative recruited on us, but I understand, thats how the game is played.
For example I'm sure West told Shaq, Shaq, Orlando is a sh*t show, he scored big for us in that case.

But this is when we had LBJ and AD already on the roster. Jerry was just talking out of his ass to make a case for that sorry ass team. Then he goes and trades the whole farm for Pandemic P...lol. I wonder who the sh*t show is now?

Jerry West did a helluva recruiting job, but boy oh boy, that was a Major mistake puttin all those eggs in that 1 basket. And he and the Clipps is getting ripped for siding with Kawhi and PG

Just realized the irony of having Dwight in Philadelphia. Remember the three team deal between LA, Orlando, and Philly? That Philly guy is still beasting in Orlando.

Anyone seen the Nets pre-season? Looking off the chain on offense posting 35+ point quarters with ease in every game they've played so far.

Injuries aside, they might to be our biggest challengers this year.

A lot of their score lines are going to end up 140-132 with a top 3 offense and a bottom 10 defense.

Maybe I'm naive, but I do not fear a team led by KD and Kyrie, at all... KD, like Kobe and Cousins, is another lower leg injury waiting to happen after the damage he suffered and the long recovery... Kyrie is a nut job, and both of them have completely crawled up their own ass as far as the militancy thing... I'm going to totally ignore them until after the All Star break... If they're still in the ECF hunt down the stretch I'll get interested. Right now though, I think it'd be fools money to bet on them being there...
The Bucks and the Heat are still our main threats out of the east, until proven otherwise.

Kobe and Lebron would have been such a great duo. Ugh.
Would have loved Kobe to have come back for one more year with this squad.

I honestly think Kd will be an interesting case study. Because of the stoppage of the season he will be a good case for is 18 months or so a much better return table than a year or less that we have seen most force their way back to meet.

To make this off-season the best ever, all we have to do is just wait for a few more to hear that Ariza was waived and that we signed him, too.

Its just messed up West negative recruited on us, but I understand, thats how the game is played.

Jimmy simply had no appeal and was a sitting duck under his father's shadow. On the other hand Magic had all the hype and managed to turn everything into a dumpster fire. Once he was gone and done ratting out to the media on everything terrible about the Lakers Pelinka, and Jeanie, we finally were able to get out of the mess. Luckily Lebron was determined to get to Holywood and was able to ignore the turmoil inside the front office. It is one scenario where location really helped us out here and not management.

Well sure, that's 1 interpretation. I have no problem with that view.

Apparently dennis schroder turned down a 2/33 million dollar contract extension from us. He can get more money in Feb.
