So while I was looking over some research studying for my final it was interesting to see that witnesses are horrible at recalling events. Statistically a lie detector is more accurate than witness testimony.
I dont know to much about how our judicial system works, but from my understudying a lie detector doesn't hold much ground in a courtroom compared to witness testimony.
