KJG about to bust up that #1 pick.
Like how the #1 seed has never won it all, most #1 picks from the drafts thus far have been fantasy busts compared to their drafting positions. Doncic and Zion being the exception to the rule, but both were can't miss prospects who had no bust concerns and were clearly better than their peers and had no risks involved.

But when there were more close prospects packed together(like there are this year), usually the guy who had the #1 pick selected the wrong guy.

D'Angelo Russell 2015
Ben Simmons 2016
Lonzo Ball 2017
Luka Doncic 2018
Zion Williamson 2019
James Wiseman 2020

Lonzo just won me the championship. Two championships since I traded for him.

Don't forget who drafted him. 8-)

Seriously though, he's not close to being the best fantasy player in his draft. We're talking only about fantasy here.

I wet the bed with Wiseman as well. The kid is clearly jinxed, he needs some good karma around him.

-suspended by the NCAA after only 3 games
-reinstated but refused to play again. So only a 3 game college career
-no Summer League due to Covid. No training camp and preseason due to being infected with Covid
-also taken out awhile during the season because he was a contact
-tears his meniscus later. Out of the Summer League and most likely training camp as well.

And the worst part. Drafted by the **** team to own a big guy in the entire league. This **** franchise and their small ball **** is the reason big men are dying in this league. Literally it's almost a curse to be a 7 footer in these times.

He has all the tools to succeed, he will at some point after he gets traded. But it will be a bumpy road, kinda like you went through with Embiid. You stashed him for two years without a stat, and then you had to deal with the load mangament for another couple of years.

So I'm stuck with him, it is what it is.

**** terrible. Brown is done fantasy wise.

I wanted to offer the house for the Time Lord and now I can't even do that. The guy can't catch a **** break with his PT.

Only silver lining is the Thunder will most likely take Sengun with one of their picks if they can't get Mobley(they'll have to either trade up or luck out in the lottery, he won't be there at their range...so more than likely they won't get Mobley).

I was on the fence about him but he's a must draft if he ends up on the Thunder with that depth chart(or lack of).

Celtics do love their center time-shares.

I was expecting you to drop Sengun's name last month when you were discussing your draft options. Sengun is one of the best prospects and safest picks outside the top 10 IMO.

I was going to take him at 9.
But seriously, the C position is dying quickly, he needs to fall in the absolutely right spot. Okc is a pipe dream.

I sorta have questions marks about Jalen Johnson so he's out of my trio.
I might do something out of the ordinary and take a scoring wing. It's all about the usage rate now, even if I don't care about scoring and 3's, the guys who get usage usually give me some of my strong cats production as well.

Keon most likely. I think he's the best out of the rest(Moody, Kispert, Bouknight, Z. Williams, Barnes, Dosunmu).

Again tho', ridiculous heavy wing draft. Hide yo' kids if one of these come to town, you're getting rekt fantasy wise.

I just wanna say Kevin Huerter is an all star in the near future.

The Hawks are dumb as **** with their insistance on adding wings via draft or FA.

Sure, it's working now with Reddish and Hunter out and Bogdan injured as well. But as soon as all are healthy, you got a major problem distributing those minutes and keeping everyone happy. There's too many cooks in the kitchen, simple as that. You got 4 starting caliber guys who will get scrap minutes, because you can't even go small too much(with Hunter and Reddish at the 4), because you have a logjam there as well with Collins/Gallo.

It would've been interested to see all bodies being able to play, it would've probably been similar to our C logjam, some of the guys getting DNP's CD or 10-15 mins a game. And they're too damn good for that.

I used to hate that about Denver as well. Too much depth is good when you have injured guys, but it's also a bitch when all are healthy. Especially for fantasy purposes.

Okay. So the lottery has finally been held and I'm content with the results.

The immortal 4 are no more.

Detroit is taking Cade.
Houston is taking Green.

Cleveland will **** up as per usual and are a taking a surprise player. No way in hell are they taking either Mobley or Suggs.

Wonder how it will affect our own draft.

Still fielding offers for the #3 overall pick. Had a couple people hit me but nothing that has caught my attention yet.

I agree, but I'm not optimistic he'll have the same opportunities for next year, regardless of how well he's been playing. Nate will be forced to look at Reddish and for sure Hunter will get his considering his performance during the regular season. I have a feeling Collins will be dealt I don't know why

Shopping DeMar DeRozan and Larry Nance Jr. Looking to pair them together in the same trade. Interested in a young PG in return.

Lol, Ty abandonding the ship already.

The Cavs picking 3rd is going to be a bitch. If they don't screw it up, everybody apparently expects them to take Mobley and try the Mobley/Allen frontcourt a little bit.

Which is outstanding to me, since that's gonna **** up Ty with Nance, moonie with Allen(no way it's gonna work, most likely they will end up splitting the C minutes before one gets shipped) and whover takes Mobley in the draft. That's for next season, when they restructure the roster and they'll begin to ship some of them it's another story. But it's gonna be at least 1 season most likely.

They had a glimpse with Javale and Jarrett, how'd that go?

And you're forgetting the franchise cornerstone and future Kevin Love. He'll be playing PF and C for years to come, eating opportunities away from these young players
