Poopy. Because of my venting rap above. Seeing my brother's marriage is not helping my womanizing.

My friend told me to dip my blunt in nyquil to help my cold. I don't think smoking will help
my sore throat tho.

Maybe you should just... take nyquil the normal way.

Na, as if that play needed any more attention. Sooooo tired of it.

If Boston was actually a pleasant place to live, most of that never would have happened, at least to the extent that it did.

Idk, i was watching something on OTL this morning and Bucker was getting threats as was his family, and he said he basically got driven out of town. I'm not sure how you quantify the severity of either, when both are getting mistreated to such an extent.

One was an actual baseball player who made an error. Yeah how they reacted is absurd, but errors happen in baseball. It just so happens that Boston is a cruel place.

The other was a fan. Fans should have zero impact on a game. Not only did he cost his favorite team the series, he had to sit there and endure all of the ridicule, beer throwing, and threats the fans had for him immediately after. The guy couldn't even leave Wrigley Field without a gang of security.

I just think a player costing his team a game and inevitably a series is more justifiable than a fan doing so.

So you think Bartman was more responsible for them losing than the Gonzalez error, and just an overall team collapse?

baseball in different from other sports man, they are a superstitious bunch. the bartman play threw the cubs for a loop- they lost their mojo. the curse has always been hanging over that team and people are always waiting for the next bad thing to happen and when it happens all hope is lost. you try to put it past you but when the dominos start falling you can get on a pretty slippery slope

i would also like to point out that bartman was not the only fan reaching for that ball, the guy right next to him was going for it just as hard as he was, he wasn't trying to ruin the cubs- most fans would have gone for that

Refrigerator repair man came when I was baking today. Just knocked, didn't call first. Sprayed down the room, myself, drops in, hid the code red bong I just made and my grinder. Then said I just woke up and made coffee to cover up the smell then did the dishes. 8-).

So you think Gonzalez's error is what caused the team collapse? Clearly him interfering with Alou for what could've been the 2nd out in the 8th inning caused the team to collapse. As hermes said you have to understand baseball is a tad bit more superstitious than all the other sports. And there is no other team that is more superstitious than the Cubs. If you watched the documentary some fans thought something was going to go wrong just because Bernie Mac changed a line in the national anthem.

Then once that interference happened, it was a chain reaction.

Definitely. But I like how he acts like it was all Bartman's fault, he even says "Once I saw Alou going for it, I knew right away I didn't want it". Bullsh*t.
