So Orlando is gonna do a trade on our terms now or no?

I'm guessing Bynum doesn't want to sign an extension with ORL, but thats not confirmed yet. Lakers wanted D12 to sign an extension b4, now hes willing, Bynum's the key to everything.

you remember the last time there was a lockout and the lakers didn't do well in the 1997 playoffs and got bounced in the semis but they went on to three-peat after that, now lakers got bounced again in the 2012 playoffs in the semis after a lockout so maybe time to repeat the three-peat again

I think I cracked the code!

LAL give:
Bynum, Blake, McRoberts, Eyenga, picks
LAL get:
Howard, J. Richardson

ORL gives:
Howard, Duhon, Redick, Turkoglu
ORL gets:
Waiters, Varajeo, Blake, McRoberts (exp), Walton (exp), Gibson (exp),
Casspi (exp), Harongody (exp), Eyenga (exp), LAL picks, CLE picks

CLE gives:
Waiters, Varajeo, Walton, Gibson, Casspi, Harongody, picks
CLE gets:
Bynum, Duhon, Redick, Turkoglu

Rumors were widely circulated earlier today there was ZERO chance that Jason Richardson would be going to the Lakers. Supposedly he has beef with Nash.

this is so dumb. Bynum won't sign an extension but would resign with Orlando. Maybe they should just try and make that clear instead of talking about extensions.

^I left off Eyenga, Blake, and McRoberts going to Orlando in the above trade. Originial has been edited to reflect changes.

That would be unfortunate if what you're saying is found to be true. In my gut though, I really doon't believe it, but I could be 100% wrong, I don't know.

CLE won't trade Waiters. And they won't take Turk's contract. And ORL won't trade Redick, why would they.

CLE doesn't want to trade Waiters, but when Orlando agrees to add Redick, CLE agrees.

ORL trades Redick to give the keys to Waiters.

CLE takes on Turkoglu:
#1 - as "collateral damage" in acquiring Bynum
#2 - because they have a chasm at SF
#3 - in hopes that Turk can be a post entry-aid with Bynum like he was with Howard

CLE can't trade Waiters or Zeller because they've already signed them.

Maybe it was someone else then. I know its only thread 3 but it seems like the Dwight saga is just about ready to jump into Episode IV A New Hope

According to Jarrod Rudolph of RealGM, Dwight Howard has had a change of heart and is now willing to commit long-term to the Los Angeles Lakers.

So what's this mean? Does Orlando like what we can offer now or are they still demanding we take back their bad contracts or what?

It means nothing on getting a deal done, we're essentially where we were yesterday. It's just that we know now that he'll commit here long term if traded here.
