I don't know why you're comparing him to guys like Thomas Robinson, considering they're 2 completely different types of players.

Embiid and Okafor both show they can shoot from 16ft out, and I don't know where you got that I was comparing anyone to Thomas Robinson :-?

Their post games are still their bread and butter. You said Noel was a garbage hustle player better suited coming off the bench. There are plenty of rim protectors with limited offensive games that start.

well if these 3 were on the Lakers you wouldn't say its a problem and 2ndly there's nobody on this team Phi would want for any one of those 3, especially not Okafor.

Other than a jordan hill trade Id actually he surprised if the lakers were able to pull anything else off. Personally I just don't picture any demand for any other player on the roster.

I'd settle for something like we pulled for Steve Blake last season, may be move Lin + cash to cover some of his salary for 2-3 players we could evaluate, may be even give Boozer a buy out so he can sign with a playoff team to open up a roster spot.

Not really too much excitement with those moves, not really something to get upset about if it doesn't happen. Even if Lin isn't moved, the door is still open to facilitate a sign n trade during the summer.

With so many teams having cap space and considering how Lin's value is, I'd be surprised if it comes to that.

I'm not expecting much right now. Unless we dump players for picks, there's no point improving this roster.

I hope we make some noise around the deadline though. Although our only real asset is Hill and we have a team option on him next season, so now would seem to be the time.

I have a feeling all star break is going to be nuts for trades this season. So who knows.

Lakers trade Jeremy Lin, Wesley Johnson, and Robert Sacre to the Detroit Pistons for Jonas Jerebko, Joel Anthony, and 2016 and 2018 2nd Round Picks.

Top Trade candidates: Jordan Hill

Teams who could use him:

1. Milwaukee Bucks- They feature 2 toothpicks at big man and are regularly dominated by opposing post players. Boozer looked like an all-star against John Henson. Hill would bring some much needed post defense and rebounding, as well as a steady mid-range jumper that could act as the bottom line for their offense.

Best trade:
Spoiler:
Image
Jordan Hill for Zaza Pachulia + JOB III + More favorable pick of NOH/SAC 2016 2nd

2. Phoenix Suns- The pioneers of micro-ball, the Suns could definitely use a real big man right now. They currently run 2 shot blocking wires at center, one shot blocker who doesn't do anything else and a couple wings masquerading as big men. The addition of Hill would give them an extra dose of rebounding and post defense without veering too far away from the horns like offense that they are familiar with.

Best trade:
Spoiler:

Jordan Hill + Wesley Johnson + Wayne Ellington for Gerald Green + TJ Warren + Reggie Bullock

3. Dallas Mavericks- While Rajon Rondo has helped their low rebounding rates, the trade has destroyed their bench. Brandon Wright was an important piece for them, and I'm sure they'd love to have Hill shore up their second unit right now. The Jermaine O'Neil and Stoudemire rumors are swirling, but how about getting a real nba player Cuban?

Best trade:
Spoiler:

Jordan Hill + Ronnie Price for Devin Harris + Raymond "I'll shoot you for it" Felton + Ricky Ledo + 2015 DAL 2nd

I wouldn't be surprised if mgmt. does nothing, even the Blake trade last year was wack to me, the value was terrible.

Jordan Hill and Wayne Ellington for Kendrick Perkins and Jeremy Lamb

Robert Sacre and a 2nd round pick for Ricky Ledo

Draft Jahil Okafor if we get the 1st overall, if not 2-4 lets draft Towns and Sam Dekker with the Houston pick.

Sign Goran Dragic

Next season :

Goran Dragic / Jordan Clarkson
Kobe Bryant / Jeremy Lamb / Ricky Ledo
Sam Dekker
Julius Randle / Tarik Black / Ryan Kelly
Karl Anthony-Towns

Kobe retires and we look at Kevin Durant.

Starters : Dragic - Lamb - Durant - Randle -Towns
Bench: Clarkson - Ledo - Dekker - Kelly - Black

That's my pipe dream lol

I like the Suns deal but they say no. Hill is a possible rental! They're pretty high on Warren.

The Dallas deal and Milw deals are horrible

Seems manageable and decent unless we wanna resign Wes again on the cheap if we don't strike a SF. I'd do this in a heartbeat tho

I'd like this scenario...

LAL trade J.Hill, W.Johnson, Clippers 2015 2nd round pick and LAL 2016 second round pick (protection 31-40)...
TOR trade Hayes, Fields and 2015 1st round pick...

LAL trade E.Davis...
OKC trade I.Smith and 2015 2nd round pick

2015 Lakers picks
TOP 5 (LAL): D.Russell (or Mudiay)
23rd to 26th (TOR): C.LaVert
26th to 28th (HOU): D.Wright
31st to 34th (LAL): Dak.Johnson
43rd to 46th (OKC): RJ Hunter

sign for 1 Y/3 M T.Robinson (or D.Arthur)
sign MAX DEAL G.Monroe (or D.Jordan)
sign for 2 Y/10 M D.Carroll (or D.Green)

LAKERS 2015/2016
C: Monroe (Jordan)/Dak.Johnson/Sacre
PF: Randle/T.Robinson (Arthur)/Black
SF: Carroll (Da.Green)/Young/Kelly
SG: Bryant/LaVert/Hunter
PG: Russell (Mudiay)/Clarkson/D.Wright
