It didn't change your word. 'write' and 'right' require completely different typing patterns. You were just typing quickly and used the wrong word.

Then you clearly mistyped the word. iPhone doesn't grammar correct so if you type "write" it won't come up "right" unless your typo'd spelling was absolutely terrible. 'were' might become 'where' if you type something like 'wfere' by accident (because they're similar words and the extra letter may tip it towards one over the other). It's okay, we all make typos.
