Hibbert fits with hiding them youngins on d though if we got a coach who now how to coach it and teach funnelingMichael Lucky wrote:Hibbert fits with Kobe, just not with Randle, Clarkson or Russell on offense.

context and i don't care much for Hibbert. Hibbert plays 25 minutes a game. If he managed double digit rebounds in those minutes he'd be the best rebounder in the league.

There is no Value for the Lakers. It is why we are in the situation we are in right now with no assets we can even trade. We get trash like this and get nothing in return.

We have assets we can trade, we're just not desperate enough to trade them.

That's a pretty awful comparison.

drtg before Ortg
and just for reference a career 27mpg player still means you need another legit PF or C to eat time because Randle isn't ready for 30, Tarik is best in 20min increments ... Plus he has mobility issues, don't mention Kelly or Sacre two bum asses
those ratings are team dependent and don't mean much.
It's not a fluke
Wonder who you guys could put next to him at the 4?
Hmm

We have no tradable assets. We cant afford to trade Clarkson Randle Russle. For us they are Untouchable. Now please explain to me what asset we have?

Seriously just tell him to go stand in a corner and get the hell out of the way any time he isn't setting a pick on offense.

Awful would be better used to describe this trade...sixers wouldve gotten picks to take on roy, we give up picks even if its the last pick of tje draft its still awful

Yea he averages 10 rebounds per 36 minutes so it's not that bad. However the fact that he's never played more than 30 mpg is troubling to me. Is his conditioning that bad or were they just saving him during the season (he plays over 30 mpg in the playoffs)?

Actually, he's gotten much better at the pick and pop, but not the pick and roll. He's really developed in his mid-range game. Last year he shot 44% from 16' to the 3pt line. I think he's figuring where his real talent lies, and he's not too bad there. He's no banger inside. When he's feeling it, he has a great running, soft hook. But, when he's mentally out, yeah, just have him stand at the top of the key.

Okay, what could the Lakers have done to get a tradable asset? When you have no assets you don't suddenly get assets.
The Sacramento Kings have cleared salary cap space by trading Nik Stauskas, Jason Thompson and Carl Landry to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Philadelphia was targeting Stauskas in the deal and will take on the salaries of Thompson and Landry as the cost.
Sacramento is pursuing Monta Ellis, Rajon Rondo and Wesley Matthews in free agency.
The 76ers receive a protected first round pick from the Kings and also get swap rights with Sacramento in the first round of two other drafts
