Jesus couldn't make that trade happen...

But other than that, there's some interesting points there.

MODS

Sorry about the original post outside of the transactions thread. I meant to post it on the trade forum, but I guess I was in the Lakers forum when I hit new topic. It was truly unintentional.

Heh might as well go for Larry. We can use another play off the bench while Sasha and Luke are out

Beidrins is barely average. Pau isn't the problem, Bynum is. We finally get our stud PF and you want to take him away...DENIED!

Well here's the thing if Bynum never had gotten hurt then Pau would had never came here and we would had used Kwame to get a PG and a decent PF somewhere else.

Ray Felton/Boris Diaw for Bynum??
Felton has always been a good defender/slasher and a solid passer albeit with a terrible shot, but this year he shoots 46% and 40% from 3,I think he is exactly the player you want, and with Diaw you will have 3 big men who pass extremely well, which is something vital in the triangle.

We could add Diop for Walton if you feel like you need someone who eats up space inside.

Utter garbage deal.....period. The Lakers aren't in the business of "helping" somebody else get better while we would get progressively worse. Why would the Lakers want Felton when you pointed out his exact weakness.....shooting ? Further more he would be worse in the Triangle because of the lack of shots he'll see. And why in the hell to the Lakers want Diaw ? What does he bring that Odom doesn't ? Diaw is more up and down than LO is plus he plays NO DEFENSE ever.

Mike James????

Post#129 » by joe.linnen » Mon Mar 15, 2010 12:08 am

I know some others may not see it the way I do, but I would like to have another vet off the bench come post season tho. With Finley and Hughses both with the Celtics and Bobcats. I think we should go after him for the vets min. We all take about our Point Guard position and this may not be a major upgrade but having Mike James could come in handy as we go farther in the playoffs. I don't know how much Fisher has left in his tank. James is a nice shooter from deep and playing along side play such as Bryant, Gasol, Odom, Bynum, and Artest would do wonders for him with the open looks.

SF:Artest/Walton/Marrison
PF:Gasol/Odom/Powell
C:Bynum/Mbenga
SG:Bryant/Brown/Vujacic
PG:Fisher/Farmar/James

That would give us 14 players and we wouldn't have to see Vujacic and Marrison take the floor if Walton comes back in time

2010/2011 Laker Roster Moves

#1 - Draft Jimmer Fredette in 2nd Round.

#2 - Trade Gasol, Walton, and Vujacic for Iguodala, Brand, and a 2nd Rd Pick.

#3 - Sign Travis Outlaw for 3 million per.

#4 - Sign Fisher, Powell, Mbenga, Tony Allen, and Stephen Graham to the veteran's minimum.

PG - Iguodala - Fisher - Fredette
SG - Artest - Allen
C - Bynum - Brand - Mbenga
PF - Odom - Powell
SF - Bryant - Outlaw - Graham

Iguodala learns to play PG. Kobe moves closer to the basket on offense. Fisher tutors Fredette. Brand does his best Mychal Thompson impersonation. Outlaw becomes new instant offense sub. Fredette ODs on Kerr/Fisher game film.

Dominant in every way ... especially defensively.

^That's terrible. Trade away your 2nd best player for a SF to play PG and bring on one of the worst dead weight contracts in the league?

Gasol is an all star in his prime FFS.

Raps fan: Trade idea involving Chris Bosh

Post#133 » by latino469 » Wed Mar 17, 2010 12:10 am

Well, we might make the playoffs or not but it doesn't matter.

I think Bosh wants to win now and it's not going to happen with this team any time soon

So would you guys like a trade involving Bosh for Andrew Bynum

That would be great, trade the masterpiece of the triangle for a play off choker...

Best time to trade him.

Sell high.

Iguodala can do everything that Westbrook can do ... he just hasn't been been nurtured like Westbrook and has never played with a player of Durant's quality ... enter Kobe.
