However, if they Lakers have their eye on drafting Russell or Looney and NOT Okafor or Towns because of where they think they may end up, I could see the front office securing Plumlee as next year's starting center alongside Randle with either Russell or Looney in the backcourt and Kobe moving down to SF
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance
2016: Ingram / Zubac
2017: Top 3 Pick? Fultz, Ball or Bust

I don't see Plumee as a starting C material for anyone who wants to win....he had a fluke year his 1st yr in Pho, w/o injuries he would've been buried at the end of the bench for them right now and this is a team that's lacking at the C spot, so fact that he isn't playing much prior to injuries says a lot about his game.

interesting, I didn't know that. I don't watch phx games needless to say, but he didn't seem so bad at all, why do you think he had a fluke year?

how do you go from doing what he did his 1st yr in Pho to basically end of the bench guy?

Because of the development of Alex Len?

You keep saying "end of bench" and yet you do realize that Plumlee has kept on getting minutes even AFTER the Wright trade right?

I think they would prefer to trade Thomas and if iam the lakers I would take Thomas and trade just LIN for THOMAS.... saves money for the suns to sign dragic

We're not gonna tade Thomas just for the sake of trading him. Hell even if we were, we can find a better offer than an expiring PG.

We don't want a PG in return, that's why we're trading Thomas.

Len isn't exactly lighting up the league either, you be lucky to get a 2nd pick for Plume, a 1st pick...please

You're asking the wrong person, what I do know is that Phx has fallen in love with Len, and apparently suns fans complain about his consistency and "hands of stone". I just noticed the man seems to be a magnet for rebounds and could potentially be a double double player if he matures. Also, he hasn't been getting consistent playing time since Len, we gotta remember the suns DID draft Len ahead of Nerlens so they were quite high on him from the get go.

SF88, I have a question for you. Considering the glute of PGs in Phx and the odds that Dragic won't work there long term as phx needs a playmaker and a star player. This has nothing to do with us, but would you guys considering trading both Thomas and Dragic plus young talent in any number of trades that results in you guys getting that playmaker and all-star potential player?

Lakers IN: Enes Kanter, Steve Novak, Solomon Hill
OUT: Wayne Ellington, Ed Davis, Jeremy Lin, LAL 2015 2nd Rd Pick

Jazz IN: Luis Scola, Chris Copeland, Wayne Ellington, IND 2015 1st Rd Pick, LAL 2015 2nd Rd Pick, Future 2nd Rd Pick
OUT: Enes Kaner, Steve Novak

Pacers IN: Lance Stephenson, Cody Zeller, CHA 2015 2nd Rd Pick

Hornets IN: Ed Davis, Jeremy Lin, Lavoy Allen, S Whittington
OUT: Lance Stephenson, Cody Zeller, CHA 2015 2nd Rd Pick

at that point we could draft either Russell or Looney and have a pretty solid young core to move forward with. If he doesn't work out we didn't give up much for the guy in the first place. I think he could fit nicely next to Randle.

I'd rather find ways to get more picks then add players this year. Jackson can be had if we offer him an absurd amt of money in the off season. I like the Tor idea of either Hill or Davis and some other combo for their 1st rd pick. Atl could use Wes IMO, thanks to Thabo being hurt, all I want for Wes is some middle lvl 2nd pick. I don't see anybody wanting Lin or the rest of the remaining players we got
