I used to use "well this pizza arrived way later than i was told it would and i've got other plans now" when the wait was really long, which resulted in discounted pizzas and even a free one one time after a little bargaining. Luckily that guy was in a rush or something because he got fed up.

But I don't even bother with them now, I just go to the drive thru and pick it up.
