I'm considering blowing up my team also, fielding offers for young players and draft picks. Lillard is off limits

who the hell is Rub

if you mean Rubio thats like a straight downgrade with no purpose to it for me, not to mention he's injured with no timetable.

I want to win so for everyone that looking for younger players hit me up. Looking to trade for someone mid-20's instead of early 20's like now.

That's the point. Why should him being injured with no time table matter when you're blowing it up?

because im not trying to just downgrade lol, thats dumb as ****.

there's no incentive for me to make a trade to make my team worse just for the sake of losing, i can bench players to do that if i wanted to.

basically, if your trades dont involve picks or promising young players, i won't be interested. Someone who has basically plateaued as a player has no value to me.

I'm not even asking for an elite level prospect like Ben Simmons lol.

You don't want to just downgrade but are only interested in picks and prospects in return. Dude. What? That's essentially DOWNGRADING. I don't care what way you look at it, picks and prospects only bring back the hope of panning out. Sometimes you know they're gonna be really good but it isn't a guarantee.

The only guarantee are the mid round guys you own who are guaranteed starters PT. Lol I understand though. You aren't interested in Rubio but don't contradict yourself. You can't bench your players just to lose either.

i can't? according to who? who's going to stop me from benching everyone?
I'm not going to but exactly where is the rule saying i cant do that.

That's downgrading with a promise for the future? i don't understand how this is a confusing concept.
Where am i contradicting myself, i'm literally doing what professional sports teams try to do, trade older/aging but still fully capable players for younger talent that might develop. If it doesn't work out then whatever thats on me.

If you're a playoff team and you want to win now, you trade away the future for the present.
If you're a struggling team/not confident in your team to go all the way, you can either rebuild or blow it up, and since we dont have cap space and contracts its not like im signing big name free agents out here.

Also Rubio is always injured, but i guess that technically helps my blow up.

That's down grading. Relinquishing productivity in return for a "promise" is downgrading. Call it whatever you want. I would call it a lottery ticket. I'm not the confused party here.

Name me a professional team who blew it up that didn't become worse? You want to start over with a clean slate, that's cool. Just stop yourself you aren't getting worse.

I give up, this argument is pointless. Again, i WANT to be worse, I DON'T want to be worse with players that have no upside to them.

Im pretty sure ty has stated in the rules that benching players to lose isn't allowed. Plus if youre trying to get the worst record mirj has you beat every single time.

Yep. No use in trying. It's already a lock.

Noel is frustrating to own. Dropped him for Jaylen Brown in my other league. Lots of talented players and the only one consistent is the one who has been inactive for the past 2 years. Smh. Embiid is really good.

So we've got three potential blowup candidates:

KJG
Q
Regime

Just who is going to make the first move. Mirj still has his pick. This would be a good time to offer something for it.
