Our only option is Schroder. That’s it.

Maybe mid season we could find a deal for him. But nothing this off season.

Rather let him go than having him sulk on the bench because he's been demoted. We don't need more drama next season. Dennis seems like a guy that would throw games if he doesn't get his way too.

I don't see any GM taking his contract if it's upwards of 84 million over 4 years. The talent just isn't there to justify 84 mil or 100mil contract. Remember GMs will never help the Lakers out. So it's in the best interest we release him and see if we can get a replacement with Kuzma. I mean you got Jordan Clarkson making significantly less money and he's the 6th man of the year. This guy scored 0 points in a pivotal game and he still demands upwards of 84 million. He's delusional and the sooner this guy leaves, the better the team will be mentally.

Nets may end up losing this series. Bucks vs Jazz in the Finals is a big possibility now.

I like kidd for the magic. Hes served his time. He's paid his dues. He's expanded his knowledge. Many thought he was going to back stab Vogel, but thats not the case. Hes been a stellar assistant here for the Purple and Gold.

Yeah I wish Kidd well. Been a good soldier and did his job quietly in the background. However its harder to act up when LeBron buys into the coach rather than when there is any semblance of doubt.

I love the NBA, but man it’s hard not to be bitter about having the Lakers season ending so early due to ADs injury.

It absolutely sucks man, and taking a look at what's going on around the league.. the Lakers had they got passed the Suns, would be considered the favorites.

Everyone has to come into great shape next year. That's the best way to avoid those soft-tissue injuries, and Anthony Davis will tell you honestly he didn't show up in anywhere near the shape he's usually in to start a season. And when you're behind the 8 ball like that like Davis and Harden, you see the results.

The league has to figure out the COVID and vaccinated stuff. If you're vaccinated and showing no symptoms - you should be allowed to play. I'm sure those studies are ongoing but boy oh boy, it was only a matter of time before this happened to a vaccinated player.

And the Clippers. Good god - Curse of the Buffalo. I certainly wanted to see their bad luck continue but not this way. Kawhi's a killer and one of the only players on the Clippers I actually have any respect for.

I mean, I’m a healthcare worker, and I can still show up to work and be around sick patients after exposure as long as I’m asymptomatic because I’m vaccinated. The league is way behind on changing this rule.

Discussion over. Perfect comparison. In Canada, second doses still lag behind quite a bit but my wife is a teacher and one of her co-workers has had his first dose of Pfizer for the last month. He tested positive last week and he stayed home for 3 days to see if any symptoms developed. They didn't, he returned to work and worked in a school with primarily autistic/special needs kids. If we're going to make these decisions as a society, we have to let a fully vaccinated player who's had the vaccine for months be allowed to play basketball provided there's no symptoms and he feels healthy enough to play.

I really hope more and more studies come out and show that they're not impacting long term health of people by doing this.

Somewhere in my mind I think Ben Simmons ends up on the Lakers this off-season and I don't know how I feel about it.

If they didn't flip him for Harden, they sure as hell are not flipping him for Kuzma and KCT.
They'll probably shop him around the league and another team with real assets will take the bait.

They could easily get something like TJ Warren, Malcom Brogdon and a pick for Simmons if he is on the table. Charlotte might offer PJ Washington, Malik Monk and a few picks. Blazers would and should offer McCollum in that deal.

The best offer might turn out to be the Warriors, who could offer either their pick or Minnesota pick and Wiseman while including a third team to give Sixers a replacement disgruntled all star and Simmons could seamlessly take over from Draymond Green.

I bet Luka is pissed off at the Mavs because Trae Young has a significantly better squad than he does. Had Luka stayed on the Hawks, that team would probably be one of the favorites to come out the East. Nobody to blame but Mavs management for this dumpster fire.

Let's hope LeGM is in Luka's ear.
