He can spit compared to other mainstream counterparts, he's just generic. I remember people were hyping him up to be the savior of hip hop and put the south back on the map. He only has one song that gets radio play down here and that's that song with Trey Songz and barely even gets play at that. Mainstream doesn't like his music and underground doesn't like his mainstream music, so he's kinda stuck.

And yeah, Electronica's better.

I mean J cole's not bad, I like a couple of his joints, he's just fairly vanilla like you alluded too. In regards to the whole savior of rap thing, that is what might have turned me off of him, because his stans are insufferable (at least Drake fans tend to have a vagina).

Blu and Madlib are both awesome.

Had just about every chain he's ever owned stolen. He even got mugged at a party by a female. Albeit Drake is a bitch, he at least threw a punch at Common. Although the punch connected with Common's chest and zero damage whatsoever.
