Priorities check:
1) re sign Rondo KCP
2) RE SIGN RONDO KCP a must!!
3) when the dust settles financially, bring in a 3 and D wing/power forward hustle team system guy
> Oubre Jr
> Ibaka
> Harkless
> Etc
Bring in holiday IF WE LOSE RONDO

^
Do whatever you can to achieve the above w kuzma javale cook dwight and/or THT (sorry guys but he'll blossom somewhere else but he is not going to be a star here (if he becomes a star. And that's a big if)
Keep Bradley please.

DO NOT MESS W THIS TEAM BY DISMANTLING IT TO BRING IN CP3 or oladipo!!! We will regret it.
Also X on gallinari
X on rose
X on Levine ...basically,
X on any soft, one-dimensional, offensively-minded, standing around without the ball, guys who cannot buy into a gritty disciplined team defense for a whole YEAR.

Caruso is definitely great value.

The best value contract is Don Luka by a mile though. Top 5 player for 7 mil.

Good point.

Suns want CP3. Could be a blessing in disguise if Phnx pulls the trigger.

I cannot Imagine David Griffin not being publicly executed in New Orleans if he gives the Lakers Jrue Holiday unless he gets back AD in return. :-?
I agree with most of your takes esp Lavine, Oladipo. I however would bring in Gallo if he accepts the BAE.

I lot of good teams would like to get Caruso esp with his cheap salary, high IQ and versatility but woudn't they even entertain the thought of trading him (along with Kuzma,THT and fillers for a key piece like Bradley Beal?
How about Kyle Lowry? D'Arron Fox?Bogdanovic?

Serge Ibaka is following the Lakers. I think he's signing with us.

Keeping fingers crossed.

The length of defense with a lineup like: Howard, AD, Ibaka, LBJ, THT ...

He knocks down the open three, too, and he can rebound like an animal still. Good hands for lose balls around the rim. Good and agile perimeter defender on switches. Perfect fit for Vogel.

It was whispered that Bradley Beal has interest in joining us.

If we sign Ibaka, it gets easier to trade Kuzma.

CARUSO GOES NOWHERE.

He’s our starting PG. In game six of the finals he was, so it should be his job to lose.

For this team, AC > CP3. And a little bit cheaper, mind you. They can superfriend it after work.

Sign Rondo for that post season leadership need. Let AC lead a bit more. THT can pick apart a defense, too.

No. Need. For. CP3.

We need to spend our money on role players like Ibaka and Bertans.

Toronto barely has a few players on the roster. if Ibaka says that he's going to sign with us for the MLE, if they don't work out a sign and trade, we have a legitimate chance of trading Danny Green to them and possibly have them absorb McGee. Danny Green helped them win a championship and was solid for them, and is on an expiring contract. I also think Toronto will value Danny Green the most.

From my understanding for a team that's below the cap we can send more outgoing salary then incoming. So, if we send out about $20 million with Danny Green and McGee and take Ibaka for about 10 million a year. If that doesn't work they can also sign and trade Marc gasol, with only a few hundred thousand dollars guaranteed money on a larger contract, would we would waive him immediately. We will qualify for the full MLE. Which will give us a lot more flexibility.

We should see who in the market we can sign and trade KCP and/or kuzma for. I think we will have a lot of suitors.

Justin holiday/McDermott + oladipo ....
D. rose and wood....(most difficult one)
JJ reddick and hart....
Lavine... ( A dream)
Donte DiVincenzo.... (Great fit)
bertans....
Just to name a few options... Y'all list some more!

I'm down to keep rondo and Avery Bradley.

I'm super excited to see what we do in a few weeks. We definitely need to stack up. I hope the front office has an amazing deals in place.

I would love to see Grant and Ibaka on this team, without sacrificing our future plans for another star.

Not sure how I feel about the DeRozan rumor. He's not the greatest fit, but I hate Kuz and DG has already fallen off the cliff.

DeMar would be a major upgrade. He's not the great shooter everyone is looking for, but he fills a gap the Lakers need, penetration, where we rank deadlast. Having DeMar would also mean we don't need to sign Rondo for the potential contract he would get on the market. Have DeMar and Caruso in the line-up. It would also mean we won't have to sign Kuz beyond next season. DeMar's contract is only 1 year on 27 mil, so we still preserve cap space to sign a max guy in 2021-2022. I'm all for it.

DeMar would be a great addition and the package of Green, McGee, Kuzma seems good value since he could leave the Spurs for nothing if he really wanted to.

PG: LeBron | Rondo | Pick 28
SG: Caruso | Bradley | THT
SF: DeRozan | KCP | Jackson
PF: Davis | Markieff | Kostas
C : Howard | Cousins | Dudley

Big fat no to DeRozan from me. Fool’s bling. Contract stinks. Makes way too much money, produces like a KCP.

Don’t let Pop fool you, Rob! Don’t need third star, just good role players. Keep Kuz, Keep Green.

If you bite on this, I have a new nickname for you; Rob U Blind, lol.

I'm for DeRozan. He will contribute as a 3rd star. He'll be back home as well. Plus he'll have to prove to LA he can earn his keep. His contract is 2021 cap friendly as well. I'd rather pay DeRozan 20 mil than giving Danny Green Brick Master 5000 15 million.

The spacing in this lineup would be awful. Lebron is the only good 3pt shooter in that lineup. Faults and all, Danny actually spaces the floor and plays decent to good defense. I just don't see the DeRozan fit.

Yeah, the spacing would be the major question mark for sure. DeMar would have to boost the efficiency of the offense to offset his poor defense.

That wouldn't be the starting line up anyway. We still don't know what Howard is going to do. If we get a guy like Ibaka and have Avery Bradley start at PG which he did during the regular season and Caruso goes to the bench and we sign a SG/SF 3 and D player. We're sitting pretty damn good I would say.
