RnB is not a sub-category of Hip Hop, rapping is part of hip hop, but doesn't necessarily have to be in a hip hop song.

Idk. I consider rap to be a harder style. Wiz is a rapper. Lupe is now gay, but he was a hip hop artist. Common is usually hip hop. Currensy's hip hop. Tyler's obviously rap.
