i just don't like his voice, it doesnt do it for me, ive tried listening to most of his stuff, and it doesn't elicit any emotions from me. He bores me.

I agree that's poor logic. a lot of people that hated on him at first are finally listening to him and his newer, non college kid music, and actually appreciating him somewhat.

He's produced a few dope tracks under larry fisherman or w/e his moniker is.

j cole is just very boring to me, dunno i dont think hes bad but im not excited for anything he releases really.

hes not even remotely a college kid though. he doesnt sound like a college kid at all to me if anything he sounds like hes still in high school a lot of the time. i thought the one track i heard off his new album was decent but i wouldnt be surprised if it blows.
