I prefer have him than Montrezl for sure. I don't talk about Drummond because he is much better a stick is better.

Looking at the guys that are free Pelinka better make a good free agency not like the trash he did last year and I'm concerned that he is going to be make it this year too.

Feels like Giannis’ season. Hope he wins it, it would be a lovely story and back to back rings for the Antetokounmpo family with all three bros NBA champions.

Last night's game was the most tired I've seen 2 teams in a long long time.
I'm hoping for the 1st timers...excuse me...2nd timers to eventually win this Chip. Besides G. I'm rooting for the kid out of UCLA.

Yeh I'm having a tough time choosing between the Suns and Bucks. On one hand I hate CP3, but love Booker. And on the other I want to see Giannis win and shut up all his critics. Either way, I'll go into this offseason happy knowing that the Nets and Clippers prolonged their inevitable vacations.

He's unguardable because he has no leash. He can do whatever he **** wants on the court and the coach/org would say nothing.

The rules also tremendously help. If the NBA will really impose the rules with the un-natural contact fouls and the refs will actually call it, his game would suffer the most out of any player in the league, including Harden.

He has an above average TS% but that is severely skewed by the number of FT's he gets each game. Most of them bogus.

When he's not "fouled" he only makes 33% of his 3's and 41% of his field goals. I know the highlights of his deep 3's look nice, but keep in mind he's also missing more than 6 per game.

He's more Iverson than Curry/Dame right now. He's still a pup and he might figure out the efficiency issues later though.
Or not.

I think he’s overrated as a scorer but underrated as a passer. Those deep 3s he chucks are cringe, because he’s at his best breaking down the defense and either hitting that money floater or finding the open man.

Great take, I just find it very difficult to cheer for guys who get these bogus calls bec for me, this is more about these players acting/selling these calls and the refs are foolishly falling for it, than actually playing the right way.

Anybody watch how Lue is coaching the Clips?
Is he just lucky to have players who step up, hit those jumpers, play good defense etc or he actually make sound adjustments and drawing the right plays.
Some coaches just look good on defense because they only use players who are very good on defense and not utilize shooters who vulnerable defenders.

I actually think he does a good job making adjustments and creating good spacing offensively, but he’s also definitely benefited from the fact that Mann and Reggie Jackson have been found money since Kawhi went down.

In the last 5 games since Kawhi has been gone:
Reggie Jackson: 23ppg on 53.7/38.1/84.6 shooting splits
Terrance Mann: 16.2ppg on 67.4/54.5/77.8 shooting splits

Those are pretty big numbers for those guys. I don’t know that many could have predicted numbers like that. I’d be willing to concede some of their success is due to his offensive coaching, but he’s been a little lucky too.

I actually don't know if the Bucks are objectively more talented than the Hawks beyond Giannis vs. Trae Young.

Middleton and Bogdanovic's per 36 numbers were actually incredibly similar during the regular season. Bogdonavic actually has better advanced stats somehow (Capela is also an advanced stat god).

Jrue/Middleton/Brolo/PJ is kind of a wash vs. Collins/Bogdanovic/Capela/Gallo

Then it becomes Heurter and Lou Will vs. Portis/ Pat C / Forbes

It is probably still going to be tough to fire Bud from the Milwaukee FO perspective after this series

The Clipper's non-star recruitment / recruitment beyond your 3 best players has become one of the best in the league. I actually think you really see this in their FT%, which I believe is still the best predictor of 3 pt %. Kawhi and PG take over half their FTs combined, but the entire team only has 3 guys below 80% and the splash cousin as the lone guy below 70%.

They'll be able to add instant offense as well as Switchy 3&D guys via ring chasing vets on the minimum moving forward. If they start hitting on late 1sts and early seconds at the rate the Spurs used to (Kyle Anderson / Davis Bertans level production), they should be able to build a long-term contender, or even a dynasty with a little luck. They may have actually found another shooter in Coffey, though his defense remains a question.
