It's almost Tet (Vietnamese New Year) here. It's the biggest holiday here. Think X-mas but for 9 days off work.

I went for a really long walk around the city today. Then went to see my gf for dinner. Bought her white tulips since white is her favorite color. We drove on her motorbike around the city. I will upload the video clip and post it here if anyone wants to see how Saigon is like riding around at night.

I went with her shopping before we ate dinner. Spent about 2 million Vietnamese dong (VND) which is almost $100. We were buying Vietnam made clothes meant for the US for ourselves and her family. Clothes like Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, and some other name brands I thought weren't made in Vietnam. For example, I bought an A&F collared shirt with an American Flag on it. It was for 140,000 VND ($6.60) here. It still had the US price tag of $35.50 on it. And I thought I was overpaying for it since shirts usually cost 80,000 VND.

hermes doesn't have time for such things, he lives in a house made out of old gold nintendo cartridges and watches never ending futurama marathons, while occasionally taking time out of his hectic schedule to dominate in mario kart.

i've found every single lakers specific forum to be terrible. to be honest i don't even like most lakers fans. RGM is like a little safe haven.
