Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League
When the **** can I put my player on the IL?
Only when his tag says "injured"? Cause Henson hasn't played for 2 straight games, yet I can't use an IL on him

If Curry didn't sit.
Yeah RO only injured players are eligible. GTD and OUT aren't qualified. Sucks tbh.

My bad, it happened the first time we did this ****, before the Dynasty League
I guess it's technically not a valid remark, but it still happened when we were basically the same guys

**** no, let's talk again at the end of the season
He's not showed much in the mins he's been getting.....Give Dieng 27 mpg and he's a top 80 fantasy guy
What are Bjelica's numbers again?
Only a matter of time before Dieng gets some decent PT with Towns, and cuts into his mins...he's too good to be the straight up backup

He's a playmaker. His assists and points will go up once he gets a better feel. He's not working from Dieng's minutes.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League
Since we havent traded any major picks so far, we should talk about how we are going to expand next year Ty. I was thinking that the two expansions would get 1-2 picks for the rooks and then do something similar where we can save some of our players. We need to start talking about this sooner rather than later so people that are planning to tank or something don't complain about the draft next year or however we are going to do it.

I don't see the need to expand. League is fine as is.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League
I'm not in favor of expansion (it will spread the talent level too thin, especially with an IL in place), but if you're going to do it, we should model it after the NBA's expansion draft rules as closely as possible.
The last one was the Bobcats in 2004 - http://www.nba.com/hornets/news/draft_central_expansion_rules_summary.html
We could change the league settings next year to cut a bench spot from all rosters, dropping team size from 15 to 14 players, to increase the talent pool. So all of the existing teams will already be dropping one player.
Adding two new teams, then that would be 28 players needed. Each existing team could protect a certain number of players (8? 10?) and can only lose two players in the expansion draft. This spreads the pain around equally and doesn't punish teams that developed stronger benches.
That would be 24 players in the expansion draft and the two new teams could add one more player each from the general pool of free agents (already expanded because every team already had to drop a player) and one player each in the summer lottery draft.

I like this idea. What place would they get in the draft? I was thinking 1 and 2 since they will already be at a disadvantage with crap players.

thats not really that scary in fantasy anymore, its much MUCH scarier facing teams with Curry, Harden and AD, since those 3 can single handedly carry certain categories in any given week.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League
so who wants KAT? I'm punting blocks so he's actually not that valuable to my team, but i still have no problem keeping him so don't think you can buy low in any way. He's almost guaranteed to be a fantasy star very soon.
