The job market is pretty good here, particularly for IT-related professions, so if you're serious then I'd get your resume out there to some of the local recruiting firms. That's how I got my start, and even though I lived in another city (San Antonio -- right down the road actually) it took me only one interview/offer to pack my bags and move up here.

PS: If anyone here has Visual FoxPro experience, you're pretty much hired if you send me your resume... lol.

I'm toying around with a new idea that might get us around the whole "100 page thread" issue. Rather than locking this thread and starting a new one, I think I'm going to instead ban everyone from the Lakers board so that we never face this problem again.

Thoughts?

They do, they're just fed up as much as I'm and being the only son, I can understand how they are impatient now. Without their moral and financial support my endeavors here would have gone down the drain long ago thanks to the recession.
