alien is still **** awesome. not sure how scary it is, but both 28 days and 28 weeks later are excellent films. a bit scary too. i really like The Mist too. excellent movie imo. frank darabont is a beast. not sure if it could be counted as horror but the swedish (and only version i recognize) version of Let The Right One In is one of my all time favs.

idk i dont care for scary movies too much, i prefer thrillers like I Saw the Devil and stuff like that if i want to watch movies in that genre. btw go watch that movie because its **** awesome.

Exorcist 1+3, Ring 1, Omen(original), last exorcism, anything by cronenberg, the shining, jacobs ladder, any horror by Guillermo Del Toro, REC, 28 weeks/days later, silent hill, oldboy, audition, I saw the devil,
the woman, last house on the left, Tale of two sisters, event horizon, rosemarys baby, any horror by john carpenter namely the thing(fav all time), The descent, the new hills have eyes

Luckily, I made this list already for a fellow horror buff.

Scariest/most disturbing horror movie I've ever seen is Megan is missing. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT WATCH THAT MOVIE.

When i first saw it I thought it was just scientist screwing around because why the hell not, but then they brought this offering thing up and it made it an unrealistic movie.
IDK why but Paranormal activity caused me to not sleep for a couple of days. I never did watch the next two.

paranormal activity was the dumbest **** ever and the only thing it did was make me fall asleep. i ddnt watch the next two because i assume they were equally stupid. i can appreciate movies that try to scare you and keep you on the edge of your seat with the characters, plot twists, scenery etc, but i cant appreciate movies that are just trying to scare you for the hell of it. i enjoyed cabin in the woods though, it was original while being satirical of traditional horror movies. sort of like scream but actually good. pretty sure theres a deeper meaning besides it just being an offering, im just too stoned to care right now.
