3 Ryan Anderson

[quote="Kilroy"][quote="NYK_89"][quote="Kilroy"]Playing around I came up with:

LA In: Millsap/Bell/Udrih
LA Out: Pau/Duhon

Utah in: Pau/Dalembert/THarris
Utah out: Millsap/Bell/AlJeff

Bucks in: AlJeff/Duhon
Bucks out: Dalembert/Udrih/THarris

LA get's Millsap and Bell who we're supposed to like, and a solid backup point in Udrih while shedding some salary. (all expiring).

..... I would switch Duhon for Blake.... And I would rather get Cleveland involved than the Bucks. Get al Jefferson traded for Gibson and Varejo

Lakers need to make a power move for Derrick Williams, he's warming the bench in Minnesota and would be perfect in mike d's system.

At this rate I expect Hill to be moved for a PF. Someone D'Antoni will actually play. Jason Maxiell? A three-way trade for Derrick Williams perhaps (they tried that with Beasley).

Pau Gasol for Chris Bosh trade ?

Post#168 » by cargilal » Fri Nov 30, 2012 1:53 am

I want to start off by saying this is not a rumor that is going on, I just pondered about this scenario watching the Miami Heat game right now. Clearly Chris Bosh does not feel comfortable playing the center position, banging against the big bodies in the paint, he is what we like to refer as a stretch four or a perimeter big. Would Lakers Fans welcome a Pau Gasol for Chris Bosh trade straight up? As a Lakers fan, I think Chris Bosh would be exactly what we need and Pau Gasol could be exactly what Miami needs in a center, I think for both parties involved it would work out well. I want to hear everyone's thoughts on an idea like this. Chris Bosh plays more defense than Gasol as well and is not as soft either, so that as well could benefit our Lakers team.

Bosh has been one of the best Centers, yet you said he is not comfortable.

Bosh would be a great #2 option for Lakers.. but it won't happen.

i would do it but Bosh got 4 years left, it would ruin Lakers 2014 FA year

but Heat wouldn't do it

I highly doubt Bosh would be our #2 option, but if you want to think so I am not going to argue with you

In terms of scoring, yeah Bosh is the guy you give the ball to.

Miami is on a roll. Why would they trade Bosh to help us?

If we did want to get perfect value for Gasol and send him to Philly, we should have included him in the Howard trade and demanded someone like Iguodola back, he's on last year of his contract and fits the age and athleticism part perfectly. Of course having both Gasol and Bynum on contract would push them towards cap concerns soon.

I was all in favor of this last summer, actually. And the summer before that. Heck, before we got Nash, I posted a three-way here with PHI and ORL for Dwight, Iggy, and Jrue Holiday among others. Of course, it was ripped to shreds, but now I think Jrue Holiday's breakout performance this year speaks for itself.

No way MIA gives up Bosh. Gasol makes sense for Boston, New York, Portland, Toronto.. Green/Lee/Bradley, Amare, Novak, Shump or Prig or Brewer or JR.. Batum + filler from Portland.. LMA-Pau would be pretty tough to stop for anyone. Toronto, Bargs + Calderon.. We'd be smart to take any of these deals, with Portland & Toronto at the top of the list.

How bout Dwight + Ebanks + Duhon for Love + Pek + Budinger? Dwight with Rubio enough for them to bite? Pau gets to start at C & no longer has to be the primary floor spacer at PF. Main option in the post. I know the idea of trading Dwight is crazy but getting what we need to contend for Pau is far from a sure thing.

Dwight>Love

Kevin Love is a stat stuffer his team doesn't win many games, until Love takes his team to the Finals like Dwight did then we can have a discussion about Dwight for Love.
