Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 9
Oh and if I may add
Koloko, unlike any other Raptor C, is very agile (was surprised he played soccer). All of them, even the unicorn Boucher, are useful for drop coverages. Koloko wouldn't be exposed in the perimeter as much as he can defend in the perimeter as well.
Toronto has been looking for this kind of big. They're not expecting for him to be versatile offensively and he can focus on defending. I trust his shots will be fixed and his confidence to grow. Just look at Barnes and Siakam. And, the Siakam connection should help in his growth
PS. Not expecting a lot this year from him

I have another in mind but he's definitely in my selections. Reach?moonpie wrote:tugs wrote:Tbh the Koloko pick is probably the first ever that I'm willing to wait on. Sure Oubre could have a breakout season due to the Miles situation, but I'm already strong on the CATS he already provide. I'm banking on Bogdan and TJ to be healthy, which is a big risk, but I also need to be competitive in the other counting departmentsROballer wrote:Lel, talk about a wasted trade.
I love Koloko, but he's not gonna play for 1-2 years at least barring a trade.
Nurse has a short rotation, his starters play 35-36 minutes a game. See last year's minutes leaders, in the top 10 overall there were 5 Raptors players.
His starting lineup is VanVleet/Trent/Anunoby/Barnes/Siakam.
And there's still Boucher/Thad Young/Achiuwa and Birch as the backup 4/5's. Fighting for the scrap minutes left by Barnes/Siakam.
I have bigs, but they don't offer a lot on STOCKS department, especially Myles unavailable perhaps for the foreseeable future
You wouldn't be saying this is a wasted pick if I was able to deal Kelly at the #11-#15 range lol, which almost everyone here knows since I offered him to GMs at that range
You would've taken Koloko in that range?

It's a wasted pick because he's the type of guy you pick up from the wire.
Not draft. And even if draft not trading an asset for him.

Aaah I see
Welp, I know you'd disagree but I can't drop and add, can't see anyone I should, similar with Ty's (although his depth has more value I think)

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 9
You don't need to drop.
There will be plenty of out's with minor **** going on throughout the training camp. Which you can IL+. Heck, TJ Warren will get an IL spot right away most likely.
I basically carried 25 bodies for the whole damn year last season. We're only asked to trim it down to 20 during this period of the summer.
I have plenty of names left on my list and I don't plan on dropping anyone to get them.

With the 23rd pick of the 2022 Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League draft, Team Insfo select

Ousmane Dieng of the Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder seem to be fully invested in him (3 1st round picks!), so let's see how it goes. Plus this news from a short while ago
I'll drop Keon Johnson to make room.

That hiring screams 1000% Giddey all over it.

Some better percentages wouldn't hurt, but I'll still take the 14/8/8 please. That's a reasonable expectation, make it happen Josh.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 9
Would be fun to post some of the expected averages of our players, see how close/far we were.
I'd expect the following:
Giddey 14/8/8/1.1/0.5...43% FG would be ok
Scottie 17/9/4/1.3/1.1...48-50% FG
Hali 20/4/10/2/0.7. 48-50% FG... I'm not joking around, it's 20/10 or bust.
Sengun 13/8/4/1.1/1.3...48-50% FG
Wall 14/4/7/1.3/0.8...43% FG
Lebron 25/8/8/1.3/1 52% FG....I expect Westbrook to be gone, so more assisting, less scoring from him.
J. Smith 15/9/2/0.7/1.5...53% FG...I'm very high on him, will start at PF per Carlisle.
Eason 14/7/1/1.7/1.1....50% FG
Sochan 9/6/3/1.3/0.8...45% FG
Z. Collins 12/7/3/0.5/1.2.. 48-50%FG...expect him to start at some point for the Spurs, Poeltl is an expiring and will be traded
Adams 9/10/3.5/1/1...55% FG
Drummond 8/10/2/1.3/1.1....55% FG
McGee 12/8/1/0.7/1.5...62% FG...starting for Dallas, I expect a similar line like in the first season he played for us(22 mpg)
THT 14/4/4/1.5/0.7...45%FG ..will be traded, better opportunity somewhere else
Tre Jones 12/4/7.5/1.3/0.2...48-50%FG
Horford 10/7/3.5/0.8/1.2...45%FG
Holmes 10/7/1/0.5/1....65% FG...this is the current role production, if traded the output will skyrocket
McConnell 9/4/6/1.5/0.5...52% FG
Brown 10/5/3/1.4/0.8...54% FG
Watford 8/5/2/0.8/0.7....53% FG

Too much work for me to try and do, but I should say other than Tre Jones, LeBron, and the first 3 names, I don't think you are going to see anywhere close to these numbers this year!

Optms & I will start the year off in a battle of bottom feeders!
RO gets an immediate chance to find out if the strategy to go all in this year is a good one or not, by going against the champ KJG

Yeah, new rosters haven't been entered, so you'll still see last year's roster when you click on "My Team". I was looking at the schedule for the first week, which seems to be what it will be in a couple of months time.
