Preserving cap for next year is bull ****. Who knows if Joker and Giannis really want to leave their team. Lakers may sign nth significant around Luka

I'll reserve judgement for now. If Kessler ends up here and we don't get bent over to do it, then that's still best case scenario. I'm guessing Ayton comes and then it will be about if he's motivated to win and compete.

That said, I'm not sure why there are some fans who're so worked up over getting Giannis and/or Jokic.

Giannis, hasn't stated "yet" that he wants out (or has he and I missed something?) and until he does stop worrying so much over Giannis.

Jokic Is a free agent in 2027? Lakers don't have assest for either Jokic or Giannis, but in saying that I'm sure they could work a trade if they demanded a trade to Lakers while including another team or 2, just don't seem the point in getting worked up all over them 2. Only way to get Jokic is if he specifically demands a trade to Lakers or in FA, because no way in hell Den will trade Jokic to Lakers otherwise.

I'm all in on the Kessler freight train, what ever it costs, I'll even buy Ainge free taco's for life to get it done, that's not Luka of course, even my Boy Reaves willing to trade and I love Reaves.

Another thing, people getting worked up over DFS and Laravia. DFS = 32 years old, Laravia 23 years old ... Hmmm.

Edit i'm all caught up now lol, but yes waiting for 2027 is bad.

I'd love to get Kessler but that's not likely to happen, unless we pay a very heavy price which includes Rui and AR and Knecht, plus a 1st.

More likely scenario is Ayton.

The huge domino is if LBJ asks for a trade.

It's going to cost a lot to get Kessler, that I know.Knecht/FRP and most likely 1 or 2 pick swaps, maybe even Reaves in a packaged deal of some sort, Ainge want's picks and clean slate, I'm sure they're going to trade Kessler/Lauri to who and when ??, after getting Nurkic no doubt in my mind a storm is coming.

Major FA signings have worked out well throughout Lakers history.

So why wouldn’t they try to repeat history?

Not sure that either player has expressed interest in the Lakers but it is the premier FA destination. But do either GA or Jokic have games which would fit well with Luka’s game?

Allan and Garland to Milwaukee

I like that for everyone... but Allen and Garland for us directly makes great sense.... I'd look into flipping garland, rui for JRUE, clingan and the Chinese center

trade Vando and kleiber for Marcus Smart
