Where in Socal are you Kilroy. Hows the self quarantine going on over there?
I keep seeing videos of people in Louisiana/Florida going to church and the beaches not giving a ****.
I wonder if they put us on mandatory lockdown.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

I'm in the City of Orange. It's weird... I had to pick up my daughter from the airport the other day in the middle of the day, Santa Ana airport was dead... But every store I've been to for just about anything has been packed, and the roads are lighter but not close to empty... Went to the liquor store and dude in front of me had 1 4pack.... 1 **** 4pack... Either hoard that **** or GTFO... The rest of us had full carts...
So I think people are just treating this **** like a snow day.
Taco place I went to yesterday was dead, though.

My dad's in Texas still though, and they're not really getting the same news about this as we are... My mom in Wisconsin literally had no idea what was going on... So maybe it's not the same for those people.

I have Arlo with cameras all around the house except on the side that faces my neighbor and is 2 feet from the fence... She went through that side, from the back of the house... She avoided all the cameras but the one that faced the door she tried to get in.

Can't figure out if she just got really lucky or she'd scoped out the house... She had a pretty detailed, sad story and called her mom to come pick her up, but her mom refused so I called the cops, and she waited for them to come get her... Just really weird.

The fact that there is absolutely no sports on TV is killing me.

Up here in Santa Cruz its been calm. I may be headed down to LA this weekend to check on my parents, but I'm still weighing my options. I wonder if Newsom declares martial law. Apparently the National Guard are already on call. If that happens I may not be able to return.

I live within the city of Copenhagen, a population of like 500k people in a 5 km radius and right at one of the busiest streets for traffic. Its been so quiet when I turn the music off that I can hear my neighbors cutting vegetables sometimes.

Our wonderful state government has made it so there are no good neighborhoods in SoCal... Just worse ones.

Ha. Had a dude jump my back fence Sunday night and bang on my glass door saying "please" a lot and ranting in Spanish while showing me his ID and jail release paper work through the door. Eventually he jumped into the backyard two neighbors over with our shovel and got tackled running in through their garage by a couple cops. Fun times.

We got reports here of COVID-19 patients breaking out of quarantines. What are people thinking

Apparently a newborn last week was named Covid Bryant. I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

There's also Coviduvidapdap named after the novelty song "dubidubidapdap (beep beep beep)" here in our country. I also saw a birth certificate naming their kid Covid Rose. :lol:

how often do people actually shake hands with others under normal circumstances?

maybe its just because i avoid interacting with people even when there is not a pandemic but i can't even remember the last time i shook someones hand
