I like the idea of having him so he could teach our bigs. More of a player / coach role.

Roster spots are not easy to come by. If he wants a coaching role, that could possibly be down to Vogel.

Eh, they seem more like throwbacks than city versions. I don’t mind, just wish it was a little more original or unique. Going off of what other teams have done with their city versions, may be sticking with a more traditional look is better since it prevents going with an awful cheesy look.

I would love us to do like an "Ugly Sweater" thing with our 'special' uniforms... Just come up with the most gawd-awful design and rock it once a year.
I bet it would sell like crazy and become a 'thing' around the league.

Such as the Magic and Kobe versions, which I absolutely hated. At least these don't look like Chinese bootlegs you'd find down at the swap meet. But it's a good thing we already have great uniforms to begin with or I'd be sorely disappointed. Why we don't do another riff off the blue-and-whites after they moved from Minneapolis is beyond me; those are gorgeous and should be in our permanent rotation.

Who has had more impressive victories thus far; the Lakers or the Clippers?
I know since they beat us many would say that head to head and schedule wise the Clippers are the better team, but I think it's close.
The Clippers win last night against the Celtics was impressive to me. And I'm trying to think if the Lakers have impressed me that much, which they have indeed. But have they played a team as good as Boston yet, besides Clippers. Miami, Dallas, ? I'm not so sure about that?
It pains me to say this, but the Clippers have the edge right now.
(a minute later)edit
Actually I have to disagree with myself here. If I put myself in a Clipper fan's perspective, I would think that the Lakers are on a tear/terror; and that the first game of the season means absolutely nothing in terms of anything. The Lakers have beaten teams considered "hot" and also "teams that are playing well". The Lakers scare me as a Clipper fan for sure.

I haven’t watched many other teams games this season, but what I have seen it’s no comparison with Lakers games, most Lakers games have playoffs atmosphere.

Re: Around the NBA XI
What's most impressive about the Lakers this season has been the constant of defense. Offensively we're still finding our way and we've had late arrivals in Rondo and Kuzma to fit in but we've won over half of those games with defense.
The offense will come and if the defense stays, with health, we should be counting 17 in the rafters. I haven't seen anyone who can hang with us over 7.

Brandon Ingram is so clutch. Carried the Pelicans in the end.

I would cut Daniels for him.

Re: Around the NBA XI
For all the **** he's been getting, Markelle Fultz has been solid this year.
And yes, I'm going to say it. He's better than Lonzo's bum ass RIGHT NOW. And considering he's a full year younger and just a pup in games played and minutes in the league compared to Lonzo, it won't be close either by the end of the season.
So if you're still calling him a bust, time to peg Ball one as well.

Re: Around the NBA XI
Brandon Ingram has already made as many 3s this year than he made all of last year.
