None of you are allowed to cheer for him/Lakers next year :)

At least 90% of you who don't want Westbrook and hate him LOL

:D

It’s nothing personal. I wish him all the best. All that Russ does well LBJ does better. It will always be inefficient and redundant to have them play side by side. It was a bad idea from before day one, and will always be, imho.

The stumbling block will in the end always be; can Russ play efficient defense? If he changes his ways in his final few years of NBA play, I’ll be here to cheer him on, thank you, but why would I think he could suddenly do that?

Not hate at all, just a bad fit.

Does anyone know what the starting lineup will look like If it starts as of now even with Westbrook and any other trades that may happen b4 hand?

Lot of people are looking that Nunn will start ... He is not even cleared to play 5on5 yet ... IMO Nunn should come off the bench+ and earn his spot in the starting lineup

Reaves should be in t he starting line up for his defense

I want to honor Bill Russell, but not with a clover tramp stamp on the court

I don’t understand the concept of league wide jersey retirement either. Naming the finals MVP after him a great honor as one of the leagues foremost winners. His death doesn’t enhance his legacy anymore than when he was alive and Jersey retirements should be left to individual franchises.

A one-off summer game between LAL-MIA was on TV yesterday. I caught glimpses. Shareef, Pippen Jr, Christie, Brown etc. Did anyone watch it?

All the MLE guys we wish we could have gotten are going down like flies before the season even begins. It’s not like Gallinari and Gary Harris were iron men but sheesh, it would have been like the Kendrick Nunn experience all over again.

I didn't think this was thread worthy, but inspired by the Gallo situation;

Did the Lakers ever apply for the Disabled Player exception for Nunn? Would they be granted the exemption if they did apply?

I'm genuinely curious.

Sounds like he's coming back, but last year we should have.

Yeah, the clover is thoroughly disgusting... A real owner would have pushed back a little harder on that...
