Hart went from getting absolutely no whistles for us to borderline star calls so far in NO

That stenciled Shadow logo on the floor looks like something off Optimus Prime's forehead...

If NO doesn't want to use Redick down the stretch we'll take him.

They have a great I-2 punch for sure. Can the support group be enough in the west to get them to the playoffs? That's the question. I do expect them to not stand still at the deadline so who knows what they can do. I like watching Doncic. He's going to still get better.

Dark horse for the 8th seed? They’re nothing special.

Yeah, and I think we just saw the battle for 8th tonight... It's not like NO is a powerhouse, but they battled Dallas and kept it close. They might be there in the end too... But given where both teams are, it doesn't seem like either is anything but a long-shot playoff team.

That said, props to Dallas for dragging themselves out of the mire they'd put themselves in, to at least have a shot at a successful season.

Real question is, is GSW a playoff team?

Not this year if Klay comes back late and they would tank for a nice pick if Klay does not come back.

Ingram is now the player we wanted him to be last season. Score the ball, shoot the 3s, a much better passer and that sick defense ability. He is not that kind of player facilitating ball movement. He is the "Kobe" type of passer who drive and kick.
Hart looks like he is the summer league MVP Jost Hart.

Thomas Bryant was brilliant with the Wizards. Bonga and Mo doing well too.

How many young talents have we given up before their potential are realized ?

Sometimes, I would think what if we kept all these young talents and waited for their development with James added to the fold. Yeah, I know the salary would be a problem. Just simply imagine How Thomas Bryant would have complimented AD if we kept him

I hope Kotas, THT and Norvell could develop appropriately at the Lakers.

Yeah, I loved Ingram, Randle, and Zubac... I liked Hart and Ball too...

I'd still trade all of them for Davis. My only thing is we didn't HAVE to trade Zu, but we did it anyway. But if that's what it took to get Davis, I'd include him.

All that aside, I do freak out a bit when I look at the ages on our team. I miss having a bunch of young guys.

Not without a center. Their margin for error is small. Curry cant have 8 turnovers and be 2-11 from 3pt land if they expect to win. Outside of Curry, Dlo, Looney, Green and WCS, the rest of the team is D-leaguer's

Watching NO for 2 games I'm not seeing a noticeable "step" forward for either of Ball or Ingram. Pretty much the same as they were here. Ingram has hit a few more 3's and has scored more but he's still basically an iso player in a ball movement league. Ball wasn't in finishing lineup in game one and was in game two. I was hoping getting away from the LA craziness would put his mind in a different spot but he doesn't seem any different. Still early though.

I'd trade them all again as well. Being able to keep Kuzma leaves us with a connection to the "kids" and he will be just as big a part of this year for us as any of the others would have been. I wish we could have kept Zubac. The return on the trade is why I'm upset. Zu isn't going to be a dominant big but at his age he's got a long time in the league and will improve for the next few years as well.

To go through what we did and end up with 2 true superstars who can effect important games is huge. None of the youth we traded away will every be in LeBron's or Davis' position on a true contender. If Kuz gets to a 18ppg guy for us with shooting efficiency we'll be very difficult to stop this year.

± isn't everything but it's interesting that in 3 close games NO's starters have been solidly in the - column. Tonight's game is less so but still interesting none the less.

Harden is 2-17 shooting just 3 pointers tonight. It's going to take a couple weeks of shooting 40% just to get that back to respectable.
