Still find it weird Jackson won't work out for the Celtics... Could we really take him over Ball? That'd be pure looney-toons...
Right?

If Hayward goes to the Celtics, there is no room for Jackson to get minutes. He seems to value playing time over draft position.

It only makes sense if they got a low key guarantee from Westbrook or IT that they are coming in 2018

Not finding the mock drafts for the 27th and 28th spots enticing on either draft express or nbadraft.net. Then again i have to remind myself that we might not be picking in those spots anyways.

So PG13 at this point in time is not realistic?

Realistic or not, you make this trade when you have another trade lined up for George. We gave away a massive piece to get rid of Mozgov, and now the Pacers know we want Paul George badly, so now they are going to ask for more. There is no way we can wait until next season for him, because we just gave up a 21 year old who averaged 16/5/4 to open up some damn cap space. He has to come now, if not, then why wouldn't they trade Mozgov and Russell next offseason to free up some space? Russell's value would probably have been higher, and Mozgov's contract wouldn't be as bad (2 years left).

While it's obvious that the Lakers would like Paul, it's even more obvious that Paul wants the Lakers AND that Indiana must make a trade or lose him for nothing. With those variables in mind the onus falls on the Lakers to simply know the trade market and not blink.

All the Pacers can do is manipulate the supposed value, thus attempting to make the Lakers bid against themselves. All the Lakers have to do, in simplest form, is stick to their guns.

Personally from what I have noticed so far with Magic willing to trade down and offers made to Suns and Kings he isnt drafting Lonzo. My take is Magic feels that Jackson is his guy and he is looking to get as much as possible for N#2.

If nbadraft is accurate, I like Anunoby and Iwundu. And if draft express is, I like Ferguson and Iwundo. Yea, but who knows if we are even picking there...

nbadraft has us getting Bell and Iwundu. I'm not too sure how often they change their mock drafts but it seems like a lot, maybe multiple times a day.

I realize that but I would take Anunoby in place of Bell as they still have him as available. But since Anunoby was invited to sit in the green room at the draft, I doubt he lasts that long.

he's one of the top players in the league... just because he didn't get voted to an all NBA team in a league heavy with guys at his spot doesn't take away from that

eh
when you're not the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth best forward in the league, i'm not really sure what we're trading for.

We're trading for a premier player that wants to be traded to the Lakers... That said, you have a point in that we have to be sane about what we offer for him. I think Randle and 27+28 would be the absolute Max I'd want to offer.
I wouldn't even care that much if he didn't sign here as a FA... His biggest attribute for me is that he seems to genuinely want to play for us.

Then we have no pure point guards at all. Who is going to run the point in that case? Tunnel-vision Clarkson or Tyler freaking Ennis? Since dumping Dlo, we need a PG. Lonzo or Fox, one or the other. No more options IMO.

Lopez is definitely a good fit with Lonzo. You need some shooters on the perimeter. If we're going to be keeping the picks, i hope we focus on guys that are good off the catch and shoot.

Doubt this very much. Lonzo is the man.....

I have posted a few posts critical of Lonzo's game, but I really like this kid. I seriously hope we keep him.

Lavar Ball ---- I am a big fan of this guy. Yes he has a big mouth, but if you really listen to him....he is HILARIOUS !!

I wish I have the extra $$$ to support his overpriced shoes :)

How far could you trade up in the draft with the 27 + 28. Late teens? Early twenties? Maybe i should look at players projected around pick 20. TJ Leaf. lol

Hou is trying to clear salary. I'd gladly take Beverly at 1 yr/$5.5 for a stopgap and possibly beyond. 2018 Westbrook and IT become FAs.

I am 100% in for Beverly. Can't believe Rockets are thinking of trading him.....Mr. Hustle, I will compete every minute ball player.
