One of the Western Conference's finest has taken a major blow tonight. Z-Bo shatted on Duncan and Allen defensively manipulated Ginobili. RIP Duncan Era.

Damn snaq put this one up too quick, I was gonna fish all that over reaction talk guys did here about the Spurs and Mavs for that matter. I called it way way before the playoffs came. I said the Spurs would be lucky to make it out the 1st round, and if they got to us we'd finish them off once and for all.

People clowned the Griz when they made the trade with us, now all I gotta ask now is this.......

Tell me how that trade taste !

This here tells you all you need to know, you can't play ball "hoping" the other team will fold.

His contract runs one more year and I'm pretty sure he'll retire after that. He's 35, 2 MVPs, 4 rings and best PF of all time, he doesn't need anything else from the game. He's not an attention whore like Shaq or MJ so there's no point for him to play on.

I'm thinking OKC > MEM in 5. The Thunder have the frontcourt to match up with Randolph and Gasol, and they're superior in the backcourt. Should be a series worth watching, though.

I'm looking forward to the LA-DAL series, too, especially after that last game with Barnes, Blake and Terry going at it...Cuban talking, Jackson talking...

Did I hear right that Kobe has never faced Dirk in the Playoffs?

Why wouldn't you be looking forward to it? :D

Yes, this is the first time since '88 that the Lakers and Mavericks have played each other in the playoffs.

Perkins is a good post defender, but he has to guard Marc because Ibaka is to small, Ibaka is a good shot blocker but Randolph will abuse him. And they have great defenders with Battier and T.Allen, WestBrook has a mismatch so they should take advantage of that

I'm with Jase, Thunder beat Grizzly in 5. And I don't see thing being a close match up really. Memphis' wings will not match Westbrook and Durant, especially today. I'm expecting Durant to get whatever he wants against Battier or Allen. Battier and Allen are old bodies and the turnaround of just finishing with the Spurs and now having to play the Thunder doesn't bode well for Memphis' success. And expect more big things from Ibaka too. Memphis does have the advantage of having the better frontcourt with Z-Bo/Gasol but I think the wing combo of Durant/Westbrook proves to be too much for Memphis and it's over in 5. Max is 6.

Ok.....I'll admit I was wrong. Memphis is doing a great job of disrupting OKC and has an 11 point lead in the 2nd quarter. I'll give them more of a chance, they definitely deserve it from this showing. But I still think OKC moves on.

Grizzlies are owning the Thunder so far. Randolph is beasting again.

Nothing has changed about Westbrook. He still continues to play out of control. Luckily he's been able to draw a bunch of fouls today.
