I wouldn't say it makes what Ron did at all OK. He's just saying it was an incredibly dumb thing to do for Harden to body him up while he's going nuts.

Nah, while I don't think it was intentional in the slightest, you just can't have guys knocking people out with elbows. If that was done to one of our players, there isn't a single one of us who wouldn't be livid.

Thankfully the league will review the entire play in real time instead of just constantly replaying the 2 second slow motion loop of Metta cocking his elbow back and into Harden's head like ABC did for the national audience.

He's definitely concussed -- he had light sensitivity and headaches and didn't come back out of the locker room after initially being cleared. They wouldn't sit him if he were 'ok'. Concussions can seriously hurt you long term, so this is a serious injury.

Summary: ron artest intentionally blindside hit a player with his elbow, and they are injured and potentially out for the rest of the season (see: Gerald Wallace, Blake Griffin in college, Najera; CONCUSSIONS ARE NO JOKE)
