also i am becoming increasingly worried about lala, i thought we were best buds and liked a lot of the same things but a lot of stuff is coming out on him that is pretty disturbing- i might need a new third wheel to roll around with

I can't stand people without manners, it's truly a pet peeve of mine. If some customer comes in and doesn't give a **** to respond to my common greeting then they can **** themselves, I act stupid and like I only know how to do the transaction no extra questions or nada. Learn some manners

For the past few weeks I haven't been ranting, or much on RGM for that matter. However, I got the ball rolling on things that were being unattended to so I'm back on here now that I got that balance on things. I do feel that I've been in the 2k post area for too long then again, I've been here since 08 and until early this year only had about 800 posts or so

I'll try to keep saying hi, if not then I'll just go back to miggs-don't-care-mode. I'm glad I don't wake up that bitter. My life is pretty typical and average for a college student but man, gotta find a way to enjoy life or you'll just rot away, I don't care to spend time mad or sad, didn't know how to handle it when I was young but now I just get high and suddenly I realize, maybe I should put the gun away :o

That's tough to answer, I'll say I don't have a problem talking to people and usually meet new people everywhere, even at a gas station or something. However, since I've been getting high I'd say it's curbed my old ways of non stop talking in person. Thing is i'm semi ADHD or so they thought when I was a kid, oddly my cousin (my mom's sister's kid) was diagnosed with a mild case of ADHD and he was EXACTLY like me. So my mind's always juggling multiple trains of thoughts, combine that with someone who's naturally hyper and you have the perfect recipe for a non-stop talker, however, add in a variable 8-) and the results change drastically.

As for talking so much here,

1) I believe anything that comes to my mind is worthy of being posted on here, don't we all just post what's on our minds? Maybe I just do it constantly

2) I'm bored at work, stuck here 10am - 6pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays 10am - 2pm so what else am I gonna do besides be on here all day? Fb is boring man, I can only play so much guitar at work before my fingers hurt, and I can't keep stuffing doughnuts all day and hope to live through another day of Stephano's work out now can I?

3) You guys are actually fun to talk to, I say that because most forums I've been on are meh. For the record I thought this place was meh, until I joined the comm thread, haven't looked back since.

4) I enjoy ranting here, it's fun to see the reactions, I don't care to be mocked, laughed at or even ridiculed, doesn't stop the fact that I'm still having fun posting away

5) I'm not cool like you TyCobb, so I just ramble away living the life of a common poster

TyCobb, you don't play basketball anymore right? Have you lost your skills? I stopped playing basketball and feel I should play again. However, the last two times I went to ball I have really sucked. I believe it's my lack of fitness combined with my overall lack of consistent play. When you don't play basketball for long stretches of time do you feel it's more important to be in shape or to work on your game?

I noticed some guys at the park didn't really have game per se but were an excellent shape so they could play at a high level for longer periods in comparison to other more skilled ballers at the park. What are your suggestions for me to return to form?

What is your game like? Do you model your game after a player or just kind of hack away and hope for the best? Fitness is important and I need to get back in shape. Basketball would be a great addition. Thanks for the talk TyCobb, I think I found my answers. Time to return to the court 8-)

P.S. To answer your question truthfully, no I don't talk much at all actually.

true dat. worrying is like praying for something bad to happen so don't. read the corrections/freedom by johnathan franzen, it deals all about existential crises of the middle class man. helped me realise how transient life is.

Thanks for the recommendation u-borat, I just finished reading a book called Anthem, by Ayn Rand so I'll add this to my summer reading list. I realized I don't read anymore and have taken it upon myself to start reading again, I feel so ignorant at times. I can probably find this in some online bookstore, I hate going to Barnes & Noble. It was sad to see Borders close down, their e-mailed coupons were the best!

I don't care for Harry Potter but I have heard many times, that the level of depth of the characters is truly extraordinary. With that said, I'll say reading Pride & Prejudice was awesome and actually very sarcastic, not what I had originally thought. I need to start reading older material like I wanted to, Greek work and other somewhat ancient material.
