This might not be fair for us since were giving away Lin.

I don't know about this one, Dan Gilbert might write another letter to the commissioner for allowing OKC to build yet another superteam. In Scott Brooks free-flowing offense, Jeremy "Giantslayer, Lord of the Realm" Lin would make a late push for Eternal MVP.

its risky, but better than letting Lin walk away for nothing. We don't want the Dwight situation to happen again.
Maybe they can give us a pick for picking up a chucker and a guy who is so unpopular that if he was in Venice beach asking for money no one would know who he was.

Seeing as how Sir. Jeremy Lin (OBE) in all his glory might single-handedly win us games and put as at the precipice of contention, which we thoroughly and undoubtedly do not deserve, I think it might be best to save our tank and pave way for this magnificent specimen to single-handedly win games elsewhere for a franchise more worthy of his true greatness.

All glory to him.

Here are my suggestions:

Portland Gets: Sir. Jeremy Lin (OBE)
Lakers Get: Damian Lillard, Wesley Matthews

We trade our Lin and get a measly PG who can score some points in the 4th (not as well as Sir. Jeremy Lin (OBE) I might include) and another journeyman shooting guard who can help us establish the tank further.

Successful trade Mofos

Atlanta Gets: Sir. Jeremy Lin (OBE)
Lakers Get: Jeff Teague, Dennis Schroeder

Once again from the residential Lin experts:

bws94 wrote:Where was Schroeder's Linsanity? Do you guys know what Linsanity really was?

Need I say more?

Once again success is mine

Phoenix Gets: Sir. Jeremy Lin (OBE), General Ed Davis
Lakers Get: Goran Dragic

What the residential Lin experts say:

bws94 wrote:As for Dragic being head and shoulders about the other PGs, I think Dragic had a fine game as a 2 guard. Lin's role was different, he was the PG and had different types of players and speed to play in and he played an excellent game as a PG more than as a scorer

Yes, the Slovenian simpleton is no match for Lin.

Now you might say this is just unfair and I cannot disagree, not only are we trading away Sir. Jeremy Lin (OBE), we are also sending his loyal and chief in command, General Davis. Excuse us, we are simple minded folk who cannot compound the mystery of pick and roll TEAM BASKETBALLLL that the great Lin preaches. Our coach is stupid, our organization imbecile so we shall settle for a Slovenian mule as we go back to riding our square tired motors and worshiping dirt.

Once again, Success is mine

All glory to Lin.

Go ahead, do your worst.

paying $15mill to a player to get a late 20+ something pick is not really something I'd consider "gangbusters" more like settling to me. I have seen teams give way more for players who was paid much less. Look at what GSW had to give up to dump Rj and Biendrens 2 years ago.

Thread is gold, Jerry! Gold!

I think the one for durant and Westbrook is close, but picks would be needed and they just traded 2 to cleveland didn't they? Maybe they get 1 for Jackson and 1 for waiters because lin doesn't need 2 more shoot first guards on his team, and he definitely doesn't need a backup....48 minutes a game baby!

They can waive Kobe ala Josh Smith. That way Lin is given the reins to OKC.

anybody interested if we could get Vasquez for Lin? Not sure Tor would want it but it would lessen their cap for remainder of Vasquez contract.....he was putting up solid #'s as a starter and is a big guard.

For what though? To go from the #3 pick to the #4 pick?

Lin + Price's PER > Thompson.

We get Curry because that's good value for giving up Lin. They get Kobe so they don't miss a beat shot attempt wise by losing Curry/Thompson.

Not to mention, we take Bogut. Nobody wants Bogut.

I doubt he makes that kind of impact.....I just think Vasquez is a better option to start (if we can't do better) and bench than Lin is....he's only owed 6.6 mill next season and considering his stat line in as a starter with the NOH at the time I'd say that's a fair price whether he's a starter or a backup next year. I see a lot of complaints about Lin when he was with Hou about dribbling in circles and constantly picking up his dribble once he get into the paint, still see it from him as a Laker.

When posters joke about trading an average player for a superstar, it is the lowest form of RealGM humor and is an insult to intelligent people everywhere. Well done.

Thanks for the giggles slava. Can we also throw in Nash just to sweeten the deal?

We do have Mitch and I'm sure he could make it work:)
