He averaged about 30 min a game in the playoffs because of the injuries that GSW had, so I can see some benefit despite his age.

My question is team fit. Does he play back up shooting guard? Seems like our front court will be stacked, but we have no one in the back court.

Iggy is a no brainer imo. Bring him on. He’s not a regular season player any more though, so I don’t see him helping us win many games to make the playoffs, but once we’re there, he will be very valuable.

Lakers must have a solid backup plan in case Kawhi doesn’t sign here. They need shooting, depth, youth to win enough games in the regular season to make the playoffs.

I think we just take anyone who can dribble a ball at this point regardless of fit or personality.

On this market he will. Just don’t complain when Cousins or KCP or Javale get it

We need a C more than another F if it comes to that. AD does not want to play C. We need AD to be happy.

Ad wants Cousins and Rondo. He said last year as a Pelican he was upset when they let Rondo walk and would like to play with Cousins again. I can see AD starting, then COusins coming off the bench for 20 off minutes a night. Same with Rondo for 20 odd minutes a night. It's no surprise their market sees them both not negotiating or taking a deal yet.

Rondo is pretty much a lock to get signed back.

Boogie's failed at ring hacking last year. Maybe he succeeds this year. I know him and AD loved playing with each other. 25-12 giants.

Boogie is a sure-shot starter, if he comes for the exception money - 4-6 mil. He's the kinda 3 pt shooting, elite passing, playmaking shot creator badass big Lebron shags off to, after he comes out of his cryogenic chamber. Don't let recency bias cloud your judgement - this dude was arguably the best center in the league like 3 years ago, before Embiid started to shine. Bosh & Love were great but not nearly at the same level as Boogie and AD. And, I think Boogie would respect and trust Lebron, Kawhi & AD enough to keep his emotions in check. He is a bit of a liability on D, especially with papa Lebron on the floor, but Kawhi and AD together should make up for a lot of those problems. Besides both of them can lack effort, but no one can blame them for being stupid and missing rotations.

Think this roster -
Boogie - AD
Bron - Kawhi - Kuz

(Bron, Kawhi are A ball handlers, while Kuz and Boogie can create their own shots)

Dudley

Rondo (could replace Kuz if we really need a PG in the starting 5.. and Lebron can get whiny at times)
KCP, Make'em dance Lance, Javale McGee, Tyson Chandler (yes, I think we should resign them all, if we can stay within the hard cap. Trade pieces if nothing else)

Zubac (still a RFA with Clips. Let Chandler go if this happens)

Korver (waiver / trade for Lance or Chandler or 2061-70 picks)

Igoudala, Jeremy Lin, Shumpert & Vince Carter (if they accept vet min)

JR Smith & Melo (if there are really no other options)

Wishful thinking, but it seems anything is possible right now.

If he gets bought out then I feel like he'd be a perfect grab for the Lakers. Still capable in spot minutes and has shown he can make an impact on the defensive end. Never afraid of the big moments and seems to make the right play more often then not. Also, just imagine the impact him and Jared Dudley would have on THT.

The only worry would be if he decides that he would rather stick it to the Warriors directly by signing with Houston if he does indeed get bought out.

Iggy isn't worth anything beyond the minimum at this point. His reg season play cannot be counted upon.

We’d be total idiots not signing Iggy on the cheap if given the opportunity.

He's likely the best player we can get besides Kawhi and Green out there... He would be a great add.

It will be interesting to see if the Grizzlies can actually get something for Igoudala now that it's reported they won't buy him out. It would be pretty strange if they could since the Warriors gave up a significant asset (a very lightly protected first that is due to go to Memphis after Curry should be out of his prime) to move him. I don't buy the Rockets having a chance to trade for him, they don't have the right contracts. Dallas could be a fit as they still have cap space. I'd like to see Iggy on the Lakers if he does get bought out for the minimum, but I'd be wary of offering much more than that (likely won't have the option to offer more anyways). He's at an age where you can't count on him night after night and the Lakers have to careful not to have too many of those guys (already have LBJ and Dudley) and he could fall of the cliff at any time. I am sure most are aware of this, but past a certain age, you can really go from solid rotation piece to completely unplayable in the span of a season.

So what is this about Rockets and Mavs being interested in picking up Andre after he is waived? He better come here.

The Flippers plan to sign him for $4M. Every GM with a brain should be after him once released.

Livingston? I’d go it in a heart beat.

If I’m miami, I hard press Iggy, Korver, and Livingston to play with Butler and Westbrook when I figure out the trade. They get mins, low taxes, and you get professionals who can handle those two on the perimeter

If I’m the Lakers I improve my own team before the Heat.

1) Get Iggy

When the Clippers sign him...

2) Get Livingston
