These Kobe tributes to start the game don't get old. They are great like Kobe was.

The more you hear about Kobe the more striking it is to me the similarities with LeBron.

Entered as teenagers
Supremely hard workers
Intelligent
Family-focussed
Have a child with supreme basketball talent
Dedicated mentors
Businessmen

Some differences in personality for sure but they had a lot in common.

Carmelo choosing to skip this game is going to eat at him once he's done grieving. Dude should have been there.

Right now im just sitting om my couch mesmerized by the love everyone is showing not only to those who passed but also to each other. Like family.
I now see Portland blazers ... I love them too now. Lilliard...i see kobe in him. Ariza... He's laker family from the past. I just see...two teams not as separate teams now...but as kobe peers vs kobe peers. I'm just still emotionally struck i could care less who wins tonite...i just want them to play their **** hardest. I want to see no whining, i want them respecting the other team , and the refs, and vice versa, i want to see sportsmanship the most for the love of basket ball
I want to see chest bumping and high fiving and hugs w other team after the game and cheers. Lots of cheers.

Troy Daniels must be the best practice player ever, because I don’t see what he does on the court which warrants his mins

He's so lackadaisical. It drives me insane. I watched a bunch of our big playoff games over the past few days, Game 7s and whatnot, and I just can't imagine him in that setting.

Emotions aside, Lakers are sloppy. Lakers shooting 63% from the field, but only lead by three thanks to their 9 turnovers.

And as far as Kuz is concerned...:nonono:

I'd start Kuzma over Green, just to see if he Kuz turn it around. If not...

To be fair I think everyone is going to play both halves tonight. It seems like that kind of theme to me

I think he needed the moment. I can’t tell him how to grieve, but he forced himself to play Sunday’s and was crying through out and tore up in the post game. He has to make his peace his way as he said he and Kobe had just talked that weekend about getting together to have dinner after the game and Gigi playing ball. He has a right to be **** up
