Lakers in 6. Massive respect to the Heat, hell of a team and great coaching staff, but they have no superstars and they are not the 04' Pistons.

The Heat will be a tough challenge. They have a great team defense and also some great individual defenders to put on the Lakers stars(Butler,Adabayo,Igoudala,Crowder). I hope our role players all show up in this series. We need good shooting from outside.

Lakers in 4 or 5. LeBron is too much for Miami. This is the type of team Bron would single handedly beat by himself in Cleveland. Add AD and its locked in stone

LeBron doesn't need much extra motivation for this one after Riley called him a coward on his way out in 2014.

Shut down Bam and we win. I’m looking at you Dwight.

A lot of Laker fans downplaying the Heat and it's kind of concerning. They've got everything you need to beat the Lakers...defensive stoppers, lethal three point shooters, and a deep bench. This series is easily going 6 or 7 games. Game 1 in particular will really set the tone, can't afford to come out flat.

Herro and Robinson scare me like crazy. Really think the difference between winning and losing will be slowing those two down.

I wonder how well Dwight and Morris can flash the paint, pivot, and find a cutter if they're in the Game when Miami goes to zone.

Stop Bam. Bam is skilled but not physically someone to overpower Howard or AD. Start Howard on him, then JMG, then AD, then Kostas, then Morris.

Bam rule; he’s a right handed player who loves to drive left when attacking. Cut off his left drive and you take him out one part of his game.

Pretty much the same story. We are gonna get eaten alive by the other team but after we win..
"wah! Lakers had it easy in these playoffs"

Per the General board we were not even supposed to make the Playoffs. So we are the dark horse making it to the finals :D

We need to be very careful and put together a very good game plan against this Heat team. There is a really distinct feel of the 04 Pistons with this Heat team, where the team is greater than the sum of its parts. The battle of the interior is going to be important for us. Heat only has one big in Bam, and we need to make sure we attack him relentlessly to wear him out and put him in foul trouble. When they go zone, we need to make sure we hit the open man for cuts and jump shots. Our shooting ability will really be tested in this series. Throwing out a crazy idea, given the crucial need for shooting, i might give guys like Cook a look for some minutes.

"A full house is better than a pair!" signs at the palace. Ugh. That loss stung worse than 2008 for me.

I guess due to the whole chaotic way the season has progressed I'm in the 'happy to be here' kind of mode. Even with a loss I firmly believe we'll be the favorite's next year with homecourt advantage (fingers crossed for home/away games again). If Lebron finally starts to decline, AD will be entering his prime.

With that said, I see this as a 5 games series win.

Meanwhile, watch the Heat their hot shooting streak from 3 come to a halt. Duncan Robinson isn't averaging >50% on us.

I mean, the Heat just went through multiple teams that had all-defense guards trying to shut down their 3 point shooting. While size is going to be a big advantage against Miami, expect to do a worse job defending the 3 point line. They were the top shooting team in the NBA before the break and ended at #2 for a reason. They have a lot of good shooters that don't need much space.

Personally, I'm not as confident about beating Miami as I was about beating Portland or the Nuggets...

We should win, but I think it's crucial to come out in GM 1 like we did in games 1 and 5 against the Nuggs.. We need to 'punch them in the mouth' and then keep the pressure on. We can't let them get confident out the gate or we may have a hard time getting the Momentum back...

And no more getting big leads and going to sleep either... GM5 v Den was way more stressful than it needed to be if we'd just kept executing.

I got lakers in 6 or less. We have the two best players in the series, multiple guys we can throw at Bam, and good defenders that can run their 3pt shooters off the 3pt line.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't think they will be great doing those, but Howard would be great with positioning for offensive rebs while Morris and spot up and shoot.
Rondo has been great but I just wonder too if he'll do great with reacting to zones. I'm also intrigued with Kuzma.
