Lakers killed themselves yet again from behind the arc. Lakers also love their scoring droughts. That damn near 6 minute stretch in the third quarter where the Wizards go on a 16-2 run when the score was 69-67.

Anybody here believes we got a chance in hell of winning a title?

We gotta chance yes. But we need to be dialed into and see what these last 10 games bring.

Honestly dude this team as currently constructed consist of people with iffy mentality. You've got Dennis being more concerned of contract talks rather than playing for a chip. THT is young and dumb. MClemore is just a dumb player. Drummond is just weak mentally i hate using that word but that is what i see every time i watch him play. probably what happens when you play for trashy teams for so long.

AD is rusty as hell and Lebron isn't even back yet with the playoffs inching closer. We are a mess right now as a team.

I have a strong feeling that LeBron will be back next game.

This is the difficult part. With old pieces, meaning chemistry due to spending time together. The team would feel confident, because they know and trust each other from last year. Don't have to teach and have adjustments to vogels schemes. But weve got new guards. New forwards. New centers. All who don't know vogels schemes and how Bron plays etc

Well hopefully Lebron returns soon. They're 8-13 since he went down.

Lakers have a **** ton of work to do on the defensive end. 2-5 record the last 7 games and their opponents in that stretch are averaging 112 ppg, 50 points in the paint, and shooting 50% from the field.

I never thought we'd win the title with the addition of Harden to the Nets, but I'm worried we're not even going to make it out of the WCF with the way we're playing. Obviously adding LeBron will change us completely, but I'm worried about the chemistry and lack there off at the moment. We've built more inconsistencies than consistencies if anything.

Of course. You think some regular season games where our two best players have been hurt for a significant amount of time is going to change that? Not for me. Health has been always been the number one concern. That being said, if LeBron comes back healthy and gets his groove back with 10 games left I think we will be fine. I still think this team is better than last years team.

Pete from Lakers film room compared it to having great ingredients to make a cake but he’s worried that you won’t have time to bake it properly.

I listened to the last lakerfilmroom podcast and if I were to compare myself to any of the three guys I'm easily Mike Trudell. Darius is in full panic mode, Pete is somewhere in between, and Trudell is not all that concerned.

I am not in panic mode. Ive been past that. I am currently in resignation mode. Whatever wins we can grab here or there is just bonus for me now. Let's see how far we go in the playoffs (or in the play-in).

Nice analogy, but in the bigger picture, I'm worried we don't have enough firepower to combat the Nets if we were to make it out. It's still 3 superstars versus 2. Their depth is a wash with ours, so we'd basically need Shröder to have a similar impact as Kyrie, which is not realistic. The only way you beat such a talented roster is with great chemistry and great role players such as the Spurs did, but nothing this season has told me it's going to be anything like that.

The team is looking terrible right now. Not even Lebron can fix this mess. I'm really worried for the playoffs(or play-ins) by now.

Not saying I'm worried, but I'm worried...

I honestly think we would have won the last 2 games if AD hadn't played... We just look pretty terrible with him on the court right now.

And right on cue, AD says: "We need to start playing with a sense of urgency."
Who needs to, Tony? The guys who basically played all season without you and battled to 500? It's not about the rest of the team playing with 'urgency' it's about you watching tape and seeing where you're the square peg... It's a very different team from the one you got injured on, not to mention last season... You're now the leader of this team, it's your job to figure out how to make it work with LeBron out...

The craziest part of AD's post game interview is when he said Drummond told him he almost has his legs back. So Drummond is out here getting double doubles and still isn't fully back?

Yeah, Drummond, in a lot of ways, looks like he could be the perfect fit next to AD... He's agile, quick, explosive... He can post up but he can also face up from around 12 feet out and clear a path for AD...
It's just that they both look like they're scared of each other out there right now.

I think what it is, is that AD and LeBron see Schroder as their '3rd guy' going forward because they haven't really played with him much yet... And they see Drummond as a temp option who isn't going to be around long...

I hope they figure out pretty quick that neither of those guys are who they think they are and start getting aligned...
